I am currently trying to migrate away from Nildram after 3 and a half years as a customer. Up until early 2008 I quite actively promoted Nildram to my friend and family because I was so happy with the service I was receiving, it was fast, never, and I mean never got disconnected (not one connection problem for the 1ast 3 years was pretty good O think!). The customer service is one of the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Once the disconnections and poor download speeds started I had a period of three weeks, calling technical support. Needless to say the issue has not yet been resolved in my opinion. I had changed router, cabling etc ... and yet frequently monitored packet losses on the line of up 27%.
Then the MAC Code, after finally having had enough of the poor service, took 12 days to get my MAC code. This is phoning... (read more)

I'll be leaving Nildram in a matter of weeks after being a customer for many years. It appears that Nildram is just Tiscali with a different badge. Poor performance and support had nothing to say on my recent speed problems other than my exchange was not congested. Well, I already knew that! Well I do not recommend www.nildram.co.uk. (read more)

Currently maxing out at 22kb/s on an 8 megs line, the speeds have been totally pathetic for months now in my experience and opinion
I have been with nildram for over 7 years and finally I have conceded defeat and received my MAC key
Unhelpful customer service, I now expect a minimum of 30 mins before you get to talk to someone.
They will soon learn the hard way that I will not accept throttling and total denial that they indeed throttle speeds and charge a premium price for a poor service in... (read more)

I have been with nildram over 7 years and they were outstanding. Great speeds and just as good a tech help service when things went wrong. The last few weeks I have been experiencing download speeds going up and down more often than an it's lift. Finally got so annoyed off I called tech support... 23 mins of music followed by a guy who in my opinion was also not very helpful. Toppped off by the discovery that speedtest.net say I am 'tiscali'... time to start looking for a new isp as I would... (read more)

Constantly let down with connections in my experience, Some days it would work... Some days it would cut out every 5 minutes. Everytime we rang them to find out what was going on, we got a different answer as far as I am concerned (always something to do with us, never there fault in my opinion...). Download speeds were not worth the money I payed for my use.
Do not recommend Nildram, poor service, poor connections, poor download rate and to top it off, your paying more then other ISP's. (read more)

Never had a problem, excellent customer service. They are friendly, helpful, UK, respond to emails and even have a automated call you back which WORKS!
I would recommend this company, I just feel that I'm paying slightly over the odds at the moment, but overall they are fast, reliable and helpful. well recommend www.nildram.co.uk (read more)

Fab! Got 3 accounts with them. Been with them for 5 years -no problems. Could get it cheaper elsewhere but I need reliability which is what Nildram have always given me. (read more)

I've recommended Nildram to several people butin my experience some are often put-off by both the monthly price and the installation cost (if required). Needless to say they go with a cheaper provider and often find the service to be less than reliable. So in this case you're looking to spend £10 a month extra for that peace of mind that when you come to use your Internet connection it actually works. (read more)

I've been with Nildram for quite a long time now, they were the first broadband ISP I signed up to, however over the past year or so their customer service and reliability have become somewhat in my opinion shockingly poor.
I used to be happy paying the higher-than-average price for the high speed broadband they used to offer, sadly this is certainly no longer worth the cost. (read more)

We were offered Hometalk FREE phone calls to landlines as a sweetener for our business broadband. However, Nildram hijacked the wrong phone line and pugnaciously insisted that Hometalk was chargeable not free. Furthermore, their charges for non-landline calls are higher than BT that on a typical basket of calls their "free" calls deal is actually a net cost. Restoring our phone bill to BT and sorting out the accounting mess has been one of those epic sagas one reads about in newspaper... (read more)

I have had them as a broadband provider for 3 years. It started off fine, and I had no problems at all for first 18 months - fast speeds, no down time; basically hassle free. This has now all changed!
In the last 18 months, I have had reason to call the Nildram Broadband tech help roughly every month. The main problem is very slow speeds and lots of down time. I recently finally migrated from AOL to Nildram Broadband, as I saw all the customer reviews of it and thought I'd be in for an excellent service. However, it doesn't quite work like that.
Firstly, setting it up was a hassle, as they didn't help much. No installation CD was given, and I received just a brief guide on how to set up. When I tried calling them (I eventually got through to a technical help guy after waiting at least half an hour) they gave no help, and they weren't too... (read more)

I have been with Nildram on three sites for I've months so far and the service has been faultless. I work in the IT industry and they have been faultless. We also use Pipex for business on over 80 sites and Nildram has proved to be as good for the home users I have installed. There are many ISP's that I have had problems with but none of the same criticisms apply to Nildram. The tech support is fast, understandable with no long queues and the connecting information is excellent. (read more)
