    I bought my TomTom Go Satellite Navigation System from Halfords and used it for my drive home having spent all of 5 minutes in the car park unpacking and installing it.

    You must go on line and download the latest version as it has been upgraded since shipping.

    I have now gone back to using the cheap Medion PDA satellite Navigation system as it is far superior. With the Medion you can choose a town, set preferences which include - avoid motorways, Fast route, shortest route, non of these are available on the TomTom Go.     I have been using a Tom Tom Go Satellite Navigation System since they were first launched in the UK and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It is very easy to use yet provides detailed mapping and easy to follow instructions. Unlike the PDA based software it never crashes.

    I cnnot think of any kind words for this useless piece of equipment.     I have been using the TomTom Go Navigator for a few weeks now and found it has been better than my last in car navigation system (Merc COMAND).

    The map is up to date and easy to read in the small screen.

    The controls are intuitive with an easy to use touch screen.
