Booked flights with Opodo to go to South Africa for my mums 60th birthday. Cost £734.00 back in August. Received email say they had a flight change on return flight by 3hours, no big deal. “Booking with Opodo was a huge mistake”

I booked a return flight from London to Paris last week for a weekend trip after seeing they were the cheapest company. However when updating my passport details before travel I realised my last name had been misspelt. A typo that made my last name *****q instead of just *****. I mistakenly believed this would be a quick error to fix and maybe cost me an admin fee of £10. “RUBBISH FOR REFUNDS”

After cancelling flights valued at £1700 I had to cancel and get a refund. I knew I had some admin and cancellation charges. Opodo then took £100 of these charges in addition rather than deducting from my refund. They said 10-15 days for refund. 6 weeks later and nothing paid back to me. I booked two flights for myself and my partner through the ODOPO website. The day after I booked the flight I went to the airline website to check my flight plan to which I found that my bookings had been cancelled. I spoke with an adviser at the airline and he alerted me that it was ODOPO that cancelled my bookings and it was nothing to do with the airline. My mother is extremely ill so I booked a flight through Opodo four days in advance of departure and received confirmation. Two days before departure, I checked the airline website and found that my flights had been cancelled. Update: Although I received an email from Opodo stating that I would not be charged, they did charge me. When I called them (another £3.50) I was told they needed to investigate. I'm not sure what they are investigating as they cancelled the original reservations (and then seemingly reinstated them) and I have their email. After questioning, I was told that it could take 15 days to investigate. So a very stressful time has cost me double the air fare, a £13 *bank fee*, and £8+ in calls.

“Opodo - defrauding customers - Avoid! Avoid! ”

I have just had the same experience as others writing on this site. Opodo took an illegal and unauthorised payment of an additional £68 from my account. Basically, the quote given after I added all the details for 3 flights to Malta was £412. Only after I committed to pay this sum did a receipt and confirmation email come back for £480. We got the great fare along with a booking number for the airline. We thought we were on to a good thing. Had a lovely few days away, checked back in at the airport to return home only to find the flight did not exist for that day. It cost us €1250 to reserve an alternative flight back home from Paris. “Opodo stole my money”

I booked a return flight to Italy through Opodo, and the final price on the final screen, when entering credit card details was GPB 149.62. They sent me an email confirmation within minutes, saying "Total amount paid today: GBP 149.62". When I checked my bank statement, the amount they actually took was GBP 154.97!! Just had the worst ever booking experience! I booked my flight with OPODO ( since my best flight option was to use a combination of two airlines) and received email confirmation from them that booking was confirmed. day before flight while doing check in I note that my reservation does not exist.. called OPODO- they said that reservation was cancelled due to my bank that did not approve transaction.. I open up skyscanner.net.. Search for flights.. 4 ticketing companies showing me same price. I have used expedia, lastminute, opodo in past so happy enough to use opodo this time.. I choose the flight, enter the travellers details.. Then comes make payment page. I check different type of cards.. “Uncaring Nasty Company”

I booked two tickets but after discovering the £41.00 handling fee, and that going direct with BA would have been a lot cheaper, I cancelled the booking. As I did this within a few hours, Opodo told me this was fine and they would only charge me £35.98 for this. Twice have I had a flight cancelled due to an 'airline security system' 2 days before the actual flight and having booked 15 days before, with a confirming email received. Once the flight was fine. However 3 times I have had to deal with customer support. Summarised: Rude, non responsive, not picking up phone, not replying to emails, on ALL occassions. This was the 3rd and last time.... took ages to book a flight for 4 for my family to come over for Christmas both debit and credit cards rejected claiming its from the bank. False according to my bank. then they claimed there was a fraud check on my account. informed me by email that the flights had been cancelled by email.which I did not check for days.
