“Rewards points rip off”

I received an email that I could get rewards points through their program after I booked a flight. The email said I would get credited the points if I joined anytime in the next 2 weeks after booking the flight. I signed up for the program, and then they never credited me the points! I emailed customer service, no response. I called customer service and got passed through 3 different people (clearly this was all out-sourced to a different country). “Horrible ”

Not only did expedia mess up my reservation and leave me stranded without a room (they cancelled my reservation because they booked me at an overbooked hotel and did not notify me but the charge was still processed)they did not keep their word on the compensation they promised me. I had everything in writing and they basically called me a liar and said they had no manager by the name I was given at the time of the mess up. “i have been ripped off by Expedia for £2,550....”

i had to cancel a flight in December 2012. they told me that the refund would be processed within 6 weeks. i heard nothing from them, so chased week 7 then week 8. eventually I had to contact the airline (Emirates), who refunded the full amount to Expedia. I have an email confirming the refund from Emirates to Expedia. All I can say about Expedia is they will rob you blind . They offer insurance on your travel save your money don't take it out . If you try too use it and call customer services it's like a joke . You can here people sitting around in back ground laughing and cutting up . I try too cancel my trip three times got nothing but the run around every time . We received our confirmation number three different times and read the note about not worrying about calling to confirm as the itinerary was set. “Need a good Hotel in a rush in Costa Rica”

We arrived at a "rustic hotel" in Costa Rica on a wonderful Rain Forest reserve, but realized immediately that we could not remain more than two days without air conditioning and hot water. Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel staff and management really know how to treat their guests :)excellent accommodations , theirs laundry units for your convenience! So awesome, really liked that. “LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT”

I booked my holiday and car hire with Expedia and whilst on holiday the car hire company failed to provide a car. The car hire company Budget Car Rental wouldn't pick up the telephone and when they did they made promises that they never kept. “Worst liars!! Whatever happened to customer service???”

Yesterday I was on the phone booking a trip to Cabo with an expedia agent when I pulled up Orbitz and the same flight, hotel etc was $100.00 cheaper per person. I was booking 6 all together so that was quite an amount. I asked the rep about is and she replies "we price match so after your booking I will transfer you to customer service and they will issue you a refund by tomorrow and you get a $50.00 credit for each booking". “Buggy web-site with suspicious practices”

The trouble is that when we use big companies like Expedia we assume things should go right, so we don't always check complaint sites first. My wrong assumption.
