Just spoke to JJ at expedia. United has cancelled their flights to Thunder Bay as of April 24th 2014, which meant we could leave, but our flight back no longer exists. It was a smooth fix as JJ re-booked our flight from Chicago. Normally, this wouldn't promt such a positive review as Expedia simply met an expectation by fixing this detail, however the agent was friendly, funny and helpful. You appear to be the luckiest person on earth. My experience with Expedia "customer support" has caused immense stress, a massive phone bill and possibly ruined my holiday. I have been trying to contact them for weeks to solve a flight issue but get constantly put on hold. I finally managed to get through to a non English speaking Indian call centre and they put me on hold again! 30 minutes later I had to hang up because he clearly could not be bothered to come back and help me. I have found their customer service to be disgusting and would warn people to NEVER EVER risk using the Expedia website.

“Refund!”

I have booked and used the ticket but had to cancel one leg of the flight because personal reasons. My ticket is not restricted and the refund request was approved in October 2013 and according to expedia it has already been processed. “Using Expedia, I received terrible service, the worst...”

Using Expedia, I received terrible service, the worst service I have ever received in my life, (restaurant, shopping, vacation booking, etc.), the only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I am not able to give them 0. I booked a trip for two airplane tickets at $133.80 each + tax, and a car rental without insurance. We booked all inclusive trip and took insurance, was told we would be reimbursed if we cancelled. We cancelled and were only reimbursed hotel price. We were given airline credit to be used within one year, but cannot use it on another all inclusive deal, even though when calling to rebook, both of us were told we could use it on another trip with flight and hotel all inclusive. Recently I bought a ticket through EXPEDIA; the flight was supposed to be at 8 AM, than I got a itinerary for 8 PM!!! After spending at least 5 hours on the phone, calling from Poland to USA I have managed to achieve NOTHIG. Every call was "interrupted". “Booked via Expedia hotel didnt have reservation”

Expedia is not the reason why you didn't had the room. Expedia already bought the room to sell for a cheaper price.. This is an issue directly with the hotel because they are reselling the room so that they can have more proffit. Please think first before putting any reviews.

“Never use Expedia its your worst nightmare.”

I booked a flight, it got canceled, good thing its 4 months away because I spent it on the phone trying to fix it. If you call customer service they cant do anything and will put you on hold for over an hour. Then you get disconnected, and there is no record of your call. Bad weather sometimes hits the USA. My son is studying there and his connection from Evansville to Chicago was cancelled. EEk==need him home at Christmas so telephone Expedia (who were happy to take my money when I booked the flight). Indian call centre. Two hours on the telephone. Useless.
