Booked a return flight to Spain with expedia. Expedia only confirmed the outgoing flight, and refused to confirm the incoming flight, even though they collected the money from my card. When I asked how I was expected to get back, they told me I would have to go and source by myself another return one way flight back to the UK. I had to cancel my trip to the Philippines because there was a typhoon in Hong Kong and a mix-up with connections. After 4 hours on the phone with several employees who couldn't speak English very well, I received flight credit but no credit for the hotel. I'll never use this company again. We purchased airline tickets through Expedia for connection flight to Columbus Oh. We purchased travel insurance as well. We purchase tickets 3 months in advance. We got notification from main flight airlines that they delayed our flight for 5 hours. We will not be able to make our connection flight. I had a trip planned to come back to my hometown but it was a late arrival with my plane and I wanted to stay at a hotel for one night. “Ripped Off Because Our Father Died”

I purchased two airline tickets through Expedia for my sister and I to travel to NY to visit our father & family. Our father had been progressively doing worse in hospital, and we new he probably only had days left to live. Made reservation with Expedia for Chicago Hotel with only requirement being two beds. Was guaranteed two beds. I had purchased two tickets on 6/10 to Michigan. I accidently put in my nephews incorrect middle initial. I saw my mistake and called to change on the 10th. It was a quick 10 minute call. This change of his middle initial never occurred on the reservation until a 2nd call, but the first call removed my grace period for a free cancellation (which I did not know about). Contacted Expedia to change a flight, i was on hold for 35 min until i was finally able to speak to someone. After a 35 min conversation they told me that i would have to go directly through the airline to make the change i needed. They did not honour the best price guarantee and now I have just found out by accident that my BA flights booked through Expedia do NOT include checked luggage. So, £100 extra to pay. If they weren't including baggage wouldn't you have thought the honest thing would have been to have presented it as an option? Oh no. Have just ended my second 45 minute call with Expedia's so called Customer Service. Though I found their representatives to be both courteous and professional the outcome was neither satisfactory or done with principal or integrity.
