“Over charged”

I used Expedia to rent a car for 4 days, 08/26/15 - 08/30/15. My confirmed charges were $80.31. I was charged $97.01. I called Expedia, 08/31/15. For the next week, I spent over 4 hrs on hold, only to be disconnected by 3 managers. Finally, one manager told me, there was nothing he could do to reimburse my over charge. Expedia has the worst costumer service in the world. I would put less than 1 star if I could. We phoned the costumer service to book a flight since their system wasn't working. After two hours on the phone, they booked our flight, but surprise - they charged us in $USD instead of $CAD, without telling us. Even though Expedia.ca advertised their flight for $2900 CAD, they ended charging us $2900 USD, and with the exchange rate you can guess our bill ended up being way more than we expected! “Poor Customer Loyalty when I comes to vendor disputes ”

I rented a car through Firefly operated by Hertz. I used Expedia to do this. Expedia offered a great rate of $28(plus 15.99 fees) per day and $43.08 for an extra day. I told the agent the day I picked up the car, that I would need to extend it an extra day. When I returned the car, Firefly decided to void my contact and rate through Expedia and charged me $78/day because they claim I was supposed to call them the day of to extend the rental. Booked flight on phone with expedia as their website was crashing.discovered next day they had booked hotel for 2 nights but flight to return the next day. I have called and emailed numerous times but still getting nowhere.mostly been ignored. They are not a member of ABTA or AITO which is very clever on their part. Upon booking a hotel for one night on a business trip to Leeds for 5th September and selecting the correct date - all was good. Upon clicking confirm, the date jumped to the 13th September. Expedia have not been cooperative and refused to deal with the complaint any further and state that the 13th was selected by myself. Expedia gave me the wrong terminal number on my itinerary, missed flight with my 2 small children, then requested I PROVE IT by sending them a copy several times (from the airport). Hung up on me, chastised me, refused to reimburse me or even acknowledge their error.Customer service was rude, condescending and put me on hold for hours. I called not even 5 minutes later and explained to them that I had accidentally processed the wrong date. I had very bad experience with UK Expedia since I cancelled trips in March I have not been refunded plus the refund went to some stranger account which Expedia cannot find to who! We stayed overnight at the Pacific Inn in Redwood City and we were very disappointed. It was no secret that the accommodations were adequate at best, but we booked rooms there anyway because the rates were so low.
