i book a ticket for 4 people, it so happened that one of us got a different name in the passport. i asked for a name correction. it takes me 3months of an ending phone calls and emails. mostly they hang up or cut off. they will says in the email that they are going to contact me with in 48 hours but it only happens once. to make the story short. i end up paying a lot of money just for a name correction. they answer to my inquiries varies from each staff to the other.it's so stressful and not… Read Full Review

“CAUTION!!!”

Recently I bought a ticket through EXPEDIA; the flight was supposed to be at 8 AM, than I got a itinerary for 8 PM!!! After spending at least 5 hours on the phone, calling from Poland to USA I have managed to achieve NOTHIG. Every call was "interrupted". They took my number about 10 times to call me back, but no one ever did. Every time I asked to connect me with the supervisor they were telling me to wait and after a while were hanging up. “Booked via Expedia hotel didnt have reservation”

Stay far form Expedia. They took my money and never even booked my room at the hotel. I got to the hotel and they said they were booked solid and had to leave yet expedia had my money. NEVER AGAIN… Read Full Review

Expedia is not the reason why you didn't had the room. Expedia already bought the room to sell for a cheaper price.. This is an issue directly with the hotel because they are reselling the room so that they can have more proffit. Please think first before putting any reviews.

“Never use Expedia its your worst nightmare.”

I booked a flight, it got canceled, good thing its 4 months away because I spent it on the phone trying to fix it. If you call customer service they cant do anything and will put you on hold for over an hour. Then you get disconnected, and there is no record of your call. “Lack of communication and caring ”

First let me say I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication on Expedia part of returning phone calls an emails. We purchased our package on Expedia and even bought travel insurance. On landing in Istanbul Austrian airlines lost our luggage, we finally received our luggage 8 days later on Christmas night. We incurred nearly $1000 in expenses. Bad weather sometimes hits the USA. My son is studying there and his connection from Evansville to Chicago was cancelled. EEk==need him home at Christmas so telephone Expedia (who were happy to take my money when I booked the flight). Indian call centre. Two hours on the telephone. Useless. “A huge inconvience and unsatisfactory experience”

When I was booking my trip, I specifically asked for a room for a total of four adults and the travel agent said he would book the four adults in one bedroom, when we arrive at our destination he had only booked two adults. “Expedia Terrible Customer Service -Intimidation and Fraud”

In trying to book travel with Expedia.com, I had to reenter traveler info that the system had stored from prior flights and had pulled up on the screen before requiring edits to the existing traveler info, then I selected seats and paid. Expedia is a good web site. But the front-line service is not up to the standard. Expedia has "Best Price Guarantee" policy.
