I was told I could cancel. A confirming email had typed in RED that this confirmation may not be cancelled. Three emails and several phone calls later explain that should you follow further steps to cancel they will not refund your credit card charges. NEVER EVER BOOK WITH EXPEDIA.COM.SG. You'll just be taken for a Ride Cheats called EXPEDIA.COM.SG is the only thing that comes to my mind. I had made a car rental booking through their website, alongwith an option for excess insurance. While the amount of 39.6 SGD was deducted from my credit card on behalf on Allianz and I got an insurance policy, the car rental never got through. “Booked in overbooked hotel and kept my money”

I made a hotel reservation in Nassau for the 26th of December thru Expedia. When I arrived, the hotel had been overbooked and the hotel turned me away without any help to find another room in another hotel. I could not even enter the hotel. The room was already paid for. “Cheap chemical air freshener”

We have been staying at the O'Haire for years and love the vintage rooms. The room was immaculate. Loved the updated bedding, the new carpet while still keeping the col vintage tiles and the ironing board! But the cheap air freshener piped in with the fan/heat was overpowering. Booked trip to jamica for 8 people in sept only to find out 4 days before trip they changed our flight time ! Not only do we lose 3 hrs of vacation time biut they split the group 6 on one flight and 2 on another one of them 19 the other with some medical issues! My husband and I recently booked a cruise, mind you the only reason we chose this specific cruise was because of the $250 credit Expedia claimed we would receive. We were thrilled to find out near the end of the cruise that Expedia would not honour this credit as it was an error on the website. Talk about great customer service. “We got ripped off by the hotel on the reservation rate!”

We got ripped off by the hotel on the reservation changed the price and tricked the client to book the hotel from the price of $108 per night then changed to second night to $450+. It is totally ridiculous and not reasonable of the charges by staying this kind of small boutique hotel. Their site said there were rooms available on the dates I needed, so, I reserved some rooms - and when I got my confirmations, each reservation had a different date! Expedia employees have no customer relationship. Their resolution for everything is to ask for money from loyal customers. Do yourself a favour and look for a more reputable company. There are really awful reviews all over the net on these. They add extras in hidden charges and take your money and don`t refund in full. Incorrectly booked a friend's airline ticket using her maiden name but her passport shows her married name but she just got recently got divorced. Called both Expedia and the airline customer service. Airline customer said it is no problem but change has to come from Expedia because they ticketed the booking. “Slow to Refund”

I booked a return flight but called to cancel the return before it took place. I was sure I was entitled to at the very least a tax refund. They said I would get approx £360 (for the 4 of us) within 2-12 weeks. Why, it takes so long, to provide a refund, is beyond me. There was an error in my the travel dates. I confirmed by calling the hotel in advance of my trip and they did not catch the error (see expedia). I cannot get a refund because the hotel and expedia both claim that the other party is to blame.
