Rebooking equals disaster I had to cancel a trip to India, booked on a United flight. I was able to cancel the flight fine, and even get credit for another United flight.... Then it became ugly. Four months later, I tried to use the credit to go to Granada, Spain. United doesn't fly into Granada... Told by 3 different agents to pick a different day or destination. “My Bad Experience!”

Booked two rooms in upstate New York thru Expedia. My room did not have an easy chair (or any type of seating other than the bed). Tried to book travel package. It was something wrong with expedia computer.I. called expedia, they try to help me and book my vacation package. We traveled 4 couples. I gave expedia employee my friends itinerary' information,to book mine the same as my friends. After a couple of days I checked my itinerary,I realized they booked me wrong resorts. They didn't apologised and charged me extra more than $1400.00. It tooked me almost 5 days back and forth, each time more than an hour on the phone, explain from beginning to the end, agree with me , put me on hold for about 30 minutes and hung up . I had start all over again. After 5 days finally they realized I will not give up they returned some of my money, and charged me again. Horrible experience and never recommended to anybody.

Expedia were great to book through and Rome was fantastic. HOTEL DOMUS ROMANA was comfortable and friendly and within 20 mins walk from Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Colliseum. Do not book hotel transfer through them if they are still using CONSORZIO. They are useless and unhelpful. My advice would be to go outside the airport and pick one of the numerous taxi's waiting outside. Do not agree to pay more than 50 euros, so agree before getting in. hopeless! booked a reservation for 8 nights in a hotel in Sri Lanka, Hotel manager email me to inform me he was fully booked for the date i request. now i wasn't happy that he got in touch with me and not Expedia they had no right giving my email to the hotel because any correspondence should have been made to expedia and not me. “NEVER GAVE ME MY REFUND”

Absolutely appalled. They have owed me a refund for months now. I have called multiple times, emailed multiple times and they keep saying "5-7 business days" and appolgising yet the refund has not been credited in my account and the worst part about it is I have spent now £20 in phone charges just trying to get a hold of them. Extremely bad experience with management including the owner and quality of food., Go elsewhere like hotel hershey or the four season where you are treated like royalty and where managent is professional in handling complaints. Unfortunately also i read too late the salmonella outbreak 1n 2008 at the employee christmas party where 11 out of 50 people got sick, you can find this on the internet because if i had read this i would never have had my daughter wedding reception here. “Overcharged, refund held back”

***Update 2nd June*** After waiting over 8 weeks for a refund, I contacted the airline who Expedia say have my money. The airline informed me that Expedia have the money as the airline processes refunds in 3-5 working days, not the 2-12weeks that Expedia claim. I was advised to consider using the small claims court or at least contact the Airline Ombudsman. Booked a family holiday to Florida and tried to access our flight/car hire details online. Despite numerous attempts to access our itinerary using the 'guest' logon it was not possible. The Expedia customer service group is not only incompetent but very unprofessional! I spent 3 hours one phone (90% on hold)with a representative and 2 supervisors trying to get confirmation for aspects our trip to Hawaii. Booked return flights through website with insurance, problem with payment which meant only return flight had been purchased and with this there was a problem logging on to my itinerary. Had to go directly through airline to buy outbound flights and also confirm the return flights. Insurance bought through expedia is yet to be refunded.
