I had booked a resort for my Goa Tour from Expedia. While i was booking my hotel booking dates from 30th May to 2nd June the site booked the tickets from 10th June to 13th June due to site error of Expedia . Contacted Expedia to change a flight, i was on hold for 35 min until i was finally able to speak to someone. After a 35 min conversation they told me that i would have to go directly through the airline to make the change i needed. After speaking with the airline i was informed that the only people who could make the change would be Expedia because the airline wasn't able to view necessary information such as pricing i had gotten through Expedia. “Awful experience, never again with Expedia”

They did not honour the best price guarantee and now I have just found out by accident that my BA flights booked through Expedia do NOT include checked luggage. So, £100 extra to pay. If they weren't including baggage wouldn't you have thought the honest thing would have been to have presented it as an option? Oh no. That would have highlighted the fact that the holiday was more expensive than it appeared. Here's hoping the hotel room includes a bed! NEVER again with Expedia… Read Full Review

Have just ended my second 45 minute call with Expedia's so called Customer Service. Though I found their representatives to be both courteous and professional the outcome was neither satisfactory or done with principal or integrity. Expedia's claim to give the lowest price "Guaranty" ...test them, try and get it! They will find a way not to comply even if your claim is in black and white in front of their eyes. be aware before you book your vacation with Expedia. My husband spent most of Monday trying to book our family vacation to Cancun, MX. “No refunds when their error”

We paid for a return for two persons on a shared shuttle from Newark airport to our hotel. The vouchers came but the company in America said although from the invoice he could see we had paid, the voucher was only for one. I researched a trip and found a package on Expedia. Before booking my trip I compared prices and found the same exact trip for $350 less. Called Expedia and the agent looked at the other site, confirmed the booking was exactly the same and said if I let her book the trip I would get the better price. While in Expedia noticed they were advertsing a good deal on a Secret Stay Hotel ( you find out name of hotel after you book and pay). Just tried to contact customer service to change a return flight because of illness. I bought an insurance policy because I knew this was a possibility considering my parent's age. Got some overseas agent - after holding for 45 minutes - who basically told me to call the airlines he was flying on to change the ticket. More untrue promises from Expedia....lowest hotel prices not even close......coupons offered by Expedia are worthless and never accepted. If you ever have to make a change to a reservation it will be wrong and it will cost you money. Also have been told numerous times that the worst rooms in the motels are given to Expedia customers! I booked a first class flight round trip and come to find out afterwards that only 3 of the 4 flights were booked on first class. The forth flight was booked coach. So I called to change the mistake and I was told that there would be a $431.00 up charge for the change to first class. I have used Expedia in the past, and when you don't need to make a change to a reservation , it's fine. BUT IF YOU ARE TRAVELING OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND NEED TO MAKE A HOTEL RESERVATION CHANGE, WAY AHEAD OF THE CUT OFF DATE, EXPEDIA IS LESS THAN USELESS! My flight was cancelled due to bad weather. I called Expedia and was put on hold for one hours and twenty five minutes. The lady would pick up every 15 minutes to tell me to continue to hold. It started with my flight being cancelled! Expedia was no help at all. They couldn't get in-touch with my hotel to tell them we wouldn't be there until the next day. I got in-touch with them myself and re-did my reservation. I will never deal with expedia again!!!
