I booked a car through Expedia.com at Toronto Pearson Airport location of Payless on May 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and returned at the same location on June 2, 2014, at 6:00 pm. “Cockroach infested”

Severe cockroach infestation. Staff is unprofessional and they have no customer service skills. I'm surprised the health department doesn't shut them down. The website they show pictures of doesn't show the detail of the filth! It's old and outdated and all they care about is taking your money. We booked a journey to New York via Expedia. We planned to travel with four adults and a baby. We did not manage to book for all of us because the form you have to fill in can not decide between a baby who does not need an extra bed and an adult. We made the mistake of booking a hotel through Expedia. We arrived at hotel, the room was dirty and full of cigarette smoke. We decided to not stay and were told we would have to get a refund from Expedia. The money we lost was £130.00 and to this day we have not received the refund. 

On contacting customer service they pass you from pillar to post and make every excuse under the sun, also asking for irreverent information.  A horrible company don't book anything through these people because

Some airliners refuse to assign seats until check in when they learn you are an Expedia customer. However, Expedia's site states you have to call airlines to get a seat confirmed but never states you will be refused to get a seat confirmed. Expedia manager says it is the responsibility of the customer to call each & every airline BEFORE booking to get the airline's policy for Expedia's customers. I wanted to visit the Aeolian Islands, off the coast of Sicily, and I had a long weekend in which to do it, so I thought the best thing to do was to arrange it via Expedia. When Expedia phone reps ( four phone calls / three hours later) say they are going to put you on hold to get further support, god forbid the call drop. You will go back into a long que, and while customer service reps say they will call you back, three reps did not. Finally, after a supervisor got on, he was able to call me back (thank you!).
