“Very Misleading and Horrible Experience, expensive too”

They over booked and sent us to a dive/hostel. The review was misleading and I will never use this website again. They charged us $100 online then sent us to a $60 hotel… when we were sent to the sister hotel which was also a hostel call Los Angeles Adventure All Suites, front desk asked us for another $60. I would recomend you use trip advisor to find a hotel and call the location yourself to make a reservation. “Incompetent and the worst customer services on the planet”

We booked our summer holiday this year to Croatia with Expedia. Never again. We tried to book the holiday online, but for some reason it would not complete the booking so we had to start the whole booking from scratch on the phone. We spoke to one of their representatives who didn't have a great grasp of English and appeared to be from somewhere in the Far East. It was a slow and painful experience. “Making reservations with people that don't speak...”

In making my reservation I talked with a gentleman that couldn't speak English well. He kept saying that he understood my request and to stay with him. I was going to hang up several times but he kept saying that he would do this for me and to stay with him. In the end I had asked for 2 rooms with a queen bed in each. Expedia is the most untrustworthy site to use. They posted false advertisement of a room and refused to stand behind their product. I recommend anyone booking a vacation not use this site. I booked a vacation for 6 to the Dominican and paid for an upgrade to an "ocean view" as stated on their website only to find out it was falsely worded on their site and wasn't guaranteed to be an ocean view. “Not reliable for help”

I wanted to change my flight to stay in Europe for a week more. I called Expedia two weeks earlier to make that happen and they told me they will email me back the costs that will affect me or the change of tickets and the time. We booked hotels with them in downtown Seattle and received a call tonight that they are moving us to another hotel a half mile from our original booking and a lesser property. I called the hotel and they said they still had our reservation but Expedia choose to move us. I have never had this happen with other travel sites and I have now spent over an hour on the phone with the slick sales staff from Expedia trying to get this fixed. I booked a flight for the first time on Expedia today and was not happy. We went onto Expedia coupons first and registered first when we booked the flight out total was listed as $1573.oo and then it listed $100.00 coupon bringing the total to $1473.00. I made a reservation a week ago with Expedia, now I find out they not only did not fulfill the reservation but charged me more money! They offered to refund the difference but I need a room for 4 and they are giving me a room for 2, wouldn't refund the taxes only the base charge. I booked a car through Expedia.com at Toronto Pearson Airport location of Payless on May 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and returned at the same location on June 2, 2014, at 6:00 pm. “Cockroach infested”

Severe cockroach infestation. Staff is unprofessional and they have no customer service skills. I'm surprised the health department doesn't shut them down. The website they show pictures of doesn't show the detail of the filth! It's old and outdated and all they care about is taking your money. We booked a journey to New York via Expedia. We planned to travel with four adults and a baby. We did not manage to book for all of us because the form you have to fill in can not decide between a baby who does not need an extra bed and an adult.
