“friendly, just dont have a crash”

The staff were spot on. No problem with that side of things. Driven vans a lot so didn't take extra insurance cover out with them. Ended up scraping the van, knocking 2 small side bumpers off and a larger one. They charged me £550 which is pretty steep, as I'd phoned a company to check on the price of new parts and was quoted £280. “ENTERPRISE CAR HIRE HORNCHURCH ESSEX”

Had hire car through no fault accident and had to give credit card which was supposed to be for security. A few days in to the hire I checked credit card and saw that £69.99 had been charged to it. Rang Enterprise and was told it was for 0 excess and that I had agreed to it. I DEFINITELY had not but I had put my signature in about 4 places so apparently I had signed somewhere agreeing to this without my knowledge. I rented an econoline from enterprise. I reserved it on the web, that was easy. They called me the day before to make sure that I still need my reservation. When I went to get the truck, it was fast an easy. The truck was clean, almost new (7000km). The return was also fast, they asked if there was anything I would suggest for them to be better... “Traveller Beware”

Unfortunately very bad experience with Enterprise in Warsaw Poland. To start with - poor customer service. We had to wait for an hour for the person at the hire desk to serve 2 customers in front of us. When we finally got served we were reprimanded that we were late a couple of hours in picking up the car - according to them if the car is not picked up within 2 hrs from the confirmed time, the car will be offered to someone else (even if it is pre-booked and pre-paid in full!) “DO NOT USE”

We hired a car from the Edinburgh Airport branch and unfortunately scraped the back wheel arch. We were concerned about how much this would cost to repair and so spoke to a local repair service, who said that damage like that would cost £200 max. We were therefore shocked and disappointed when Enterprise charged us the full £700 excess. My experience has been very similar. On returning a small white van to the Edinburgh Corstorphine branch on 24/7/14, I was informed that a minor scratch on the white painted back door had been discovered. I could not provide evidence that I had not done this so had to accept liability. I have been debited £850 until they have the time to buff out this scratch. It is now 15 days later and no response. Apparently Enterprise only commit to respond to an email within SEVEN days. This is dreadful service.

AVOID !!!!!!!!

I have a car reserved with Enterprise that I was due to pick up next week (pay on collection), good price but these reviews have put me off. I have been ripped off once before by a car hire company and am not prepared to take the risk of going through it again. This much negativity towards Enterprise has made me nervous. Wow , you lucked out , we are having a TERRIBLE experience right now ( because of a flat tire ) and I am Sooooo going to let everyone know what we've been through ~ still waiting from 5pm last night And the time is now 12.30pm next day - JUST FOR A FLAT TIRE !! Oh just learned that we have to sit in the tow truck for an hour and a half to get to another town that has the correct tire size , the tire that's on our car is an awkward size . Unbelievable .

“Rubbish cars, a bit sly...”

Picked up a car today from the branch in Rugby, Warwickshire. I requested "Chevy Aveo" or similar, and it seems they thought I wouldn't notice them giving me the most horrendous car ever put onto British roads -A Chevrolet Spark. “Rip Off Merchants”

Picked up a VW Golf from Gatwick two weeks ago, was asked to check car with rep which we did, however was not told to check tyres also had to check black car in very dark car park. Over the next two weeks we had a great time and because the car was not ours looked after it very very well. This morning we handed the car back only to b told there was a mark on the tyre which would have to b replaced, we were not amused!!!!!!! We were told that there was a "bolt" in our tyre, despite me checking around the car when I left it. We asked for the evidence way before anything was done on the car and they said they would let us see the tyre and bolt. It never appeared and they proceeded to take £200 from our bank. We took this further and would have taken them to court over this but they have agreed to refund our money, although 3 weeks later they have not. If it does not appear, we will take this company to court.

“More unauthorised payments from Enterprise UK”

An Enterprise hire car was arranged for me by the body shop currently carrying out repairs to my own personal vehicle as they're own fleet of courtesy cars was unavailable. After being collected on a Saturday (good) we checked around the car at Enterprise Salisbury for any damage from previous renters. The car was parked with its rear end up against a wall making checking the rear for scuffs and dents difficult. “Avoid please! Avoid enterprise car rental! ”

rented a Renault twingo at nice airport for 2 days. Unfortunately while my car was parked has been damaged by our Gardner van.... Tipical French... I am actuly glad to hear that somebody wants to speak to me after i have been had 850 euro taken off me! However better late than never... if you can give your email address or your phone number I would be happy to discuss everything with you. I have got nothing to hide... I will certainly keep everybody informed on this case to allow everybody order to make a ponderate decision before choosing the right company for renting a car

Hi.
I was under the impression that everything was sorted after I spoke with one of the English Manager from your French Branch. Unfortunately, after 4 months, I started receiving letters from Enterprise asking for money again. This is ridiculous!
Furthermore the French branch number provided on the threatening letter is not working or more precisely is an answering machine which I do not find really productive to talk to.
Again this company must be 100% avoided!!!

Furthermore the French branch number provided on the threatening letter is not working or more precisely is an answering machine which I do not find really productive to talk to.
