The lady on the other end of the line was personable, friendly and helpful. She explained about the one-way drop fee. “Excellent service”

I had to ask for a rental car unexpectedly on Christmas Eve, paid for by a 3rd party's insurance company. Enterprise staff made every effort to help. Though they didn't have an appropriate car in stock they got one sent from another branch for me to pick up the same day. There were a couple of things I had to ask about & sort out and all the staff seemed very helpful and friendly in any communication I had with them. I never hired a van before and thought that I'd used Enterprise because of the brand. Their a liars and will at any opportunity try to rip you off. When collecting a car, they're very quick at checking you out by rushing through the process of quickly going about the vehicle. when returning the vehicle, they go through with it with a fine tooth comb and microscope. “Ripped off”

On 31/3/2015 I had to hire a van from Enterprise through my insurance company, the van was picked up from their Skene Square depot in Aberdeen and returned to the accident repair centre where my own van was repaired as instructed by Enterprise.12 days after returning van I received a bill for £761.76 for damage to said van with no details of van or what damage was done, on contacting the DRU unit Iwas told there was a small dent just behind drivers door which was definiteley not there when I… Read Full Review

Another bog standard reply from the 'social coordinator' who, if he were worth his salt could easily discover who this reviewer was from the numerous details he provided. I am fed up of these weak responses from businesses trying to give the appearance they actually care!

I have had the same problem with this company, but you appear to ahead of me with contact. I used to hire from this company, but there tactics have changed, in progressing to demanding more money from customers. Obviously we can see what is happening here.

“Got smaller van than we ordered and were guaranteed”

We went to a local branch in person as we had a specific requirements, what we needed. They offered us a van of a size we were looking for, however when we came to pick it up a couple of weeks later, we noticed it was a smaller class. They never mentioned anything and if we didn't say anything we would have been charged for a bigger class and left thinking we got what we ordered. “Beware the huge standard excess on vans!!”

I needed to rent a medium size van to move my mother in law following her Parkhome getting flooded and called the central switchboard to get a price to rent one from their Penrith, Cumbria branch. I was quoted £38 and change for 24 hours, which I thought was a fair(ish) price as I only really needed it for a few hours and 20 miles or so. Hi, I was surprised to see your request nearly two months later, but with the greatest respect, what possible use is it to provide you with any more details than I have already?! I mean to say there are exact details in my review and so you will already know, from you business practices that my facts are correct. My purpose is to alert other members of the public to the extra charges and the massive standard excess. Phone up, get a price, arrive to pick the car up to be told that theres an automatic £1000 excess to pay unless you hand over an extra £17 a day. “Rip off and Stole money”

I rented a van from Brighton enterprise for one day to move property, their van broke down due to supplying me a faulty van and by the time their guy came around to fix it, the branch had closed. I called up the head office and explained to them the situation but they said its fine I can return it the next day before they open, which I did. I had a car from Enterprice recently. This was a curtesy car as my BMW had to go in for repair. I had to use Enfield Branch second time this year and the service...well,it was dreadful.They lie,lie and lie a bit more. I had to rase an issue with BMW about the service. Enterprice has a contract with BMW for providing curtesy cars. “Car? If you're lucky.... or want to pay”

I recently had the bad luck to have to have a hire car from this company through insurance after an idiot drove into my parked car. They picked me up and took me to depot where after spending a long time filling in forms and taking credit card details (?) they showed me a car. Well...
