“Worst car hire experience, rude, ignorant and obnoxious”

Consider if you would like to have any relationship with a company that homogenises you down to the lowest common denominator of human, who bases its business decisions upon assumptions, not provable facts, tells lies, blatantly, and is happy to merrily take thousands of pounds in rental fees whilst so doing. “Dishonest”

I rented a car that I upgraded for an agreed higher rate of 22.5 pounds. The guy withdrew from my account 10 pounds more and after calling they say there is no chance I will get a refund, these are taxes I am paying, as VAT, Airport charges (?!?!?!?) and that were not comunicated to me. “Luton Airport No go..dont use Enterprise car hire”

hired a car. damage was mark when the car was hired . on return the guys got me to sign the form before the car was inspected. on inspection the guys makes up damage that was already on the car as new damage. Sincerely please do not rent from this company. Not only have I had a nightmare of an experience that I really don't want to go into detail. I had a friend who used to manage a branch for Enterprise. She made her branch very profitable despite given a dead beat staff and her area and senior managers used to cut her down consistently. She was laid off without just cause, she was a single mother with a young daughter at home. Honestly, pay an extra $20 to rent from another company… Read Full Review

“Never Again : Heavily charged for a small dent :(”

I rented a car on 06/12 and returned it back on 07/12 evening, where then an dent was identifed by enterpise assistant, which was in back of bumper ot the car below the number plate, which anyone could hardly notice it. I didn't know enterpise was so picky about small issues, in this case I would have doubled checked the car before renting it out. We have just cancelled our company account with this outfit as we are sick and tired of making car reservations that fail to materialise. ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL - I collected a car from Glasgow Airport for an overnight hire. I was walked around the car with various bits of damage being pointed out to be, one of which was a very amateurish attempt to fill bumper damage with white filler, nothing close to the colour of the car. ENTERPRISE - DO NOT TAKE OUT EXCESS REDUCTION INSURANCE ITS A CON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They advise you to take it out on the basis you can claim it back from the insurance company YOU CANNOT, was advised from my company that NO insurance will pay this as they have already paid enterprise insurance why would they pay it a second time was totally duped and am now £71 out of pocket due no fault of my own as i was the innocent party in a collision and had to go to them for a hire car whilst my own car was fixed.

In one word 'DODGY'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Mike Schneider - Terrible Branch Rental Manger ”

At the Enterprise in Spokane WA I was told by Rental Manager Mike Schneider that he would not rent my reserved car by me because I was rude. The fact is I was left to wait while he answered phone calls and the other desk clerk washed a car - while three people were in line. “Best Car Rental Company cheapest”

reserved a mini mpv online and it all worked well. got to the office and they gave me a nissan pathfinder,which does actually usually cost allot more,at least twice as more for what i ordered anyways. the car was mint and everything was all good,had plenty of fuel and the worker was very good and cheery :D took the car back and they happily took it off me no problems. downside is though that the car they gave me was a 2.5L so was really guzzly on diesel and therefore very expensive.also they do… Read Full Review

How's this for a modern car rental company? You go online and you reserve a car. A screen appears telling you that your reservation is complete. You contact the company on a separate issue and they tell you that they can't actually rent you a car when their screen said they would because they don't actually have any cars to rent for a days. “Ultra-Picky on Damage”

Picked up a car at Heathrow - service was absolutely outstanding. Until I took it back. They have a policy whereby if a dent or scratch is smaller than the size of a golf ball, you will not be charged. Car was covered in rain and damage was on passenger side door and completely invisible when I took the car. “Enterprise car rental”

I arrived at the enterprise car rental office and they did not have a car for me. They thought I was coming at 2:00 I was scheduled to arrive at 10:30. They then sent me to another location and they had no car for me unless I paid 650.00. I spent 60.00 on a cab to go back and forth to both locations. “Damage Scam!!”

I was referred to enterprise after a no fault car accident.........upon collecting the car the representative hurried me round the car and asked me to point out any damage to the car, when i started pointing out scratches he said 'i'm not interested in minor scratches!' making me believe I was going over the top. I have also just received a letter from Enterprise Damage Recovery Unit dated 05th April 2012, following a car rental. I was involved in a no fault shunt and the 3rd party insurance company arranged and paid for a hire car from Enterprise whilst my car was repaired. I collected the hire car on 11th Aug 2011 and returned it the next day after driving it for 61 miles. I am still in possession of the original hire agreement and also the return agreement clearly stating that the car did not have any damage to it following my return. Enterprise have claimed that i damaged the car following my rental on 20th Aug 2011. This isn't even the correct rental date!!!! What's more, they have also deducted £456.50 from my credit card!!! I have instructed my credit card company to reclaim the money and have reported it as a fraudulent transaction. BEWARE......DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE FOR ANY HIRE CARS!!!!!

Broke down in my own vehicle called out AA patrol who towed my car to the garage AA onward travel arranged for a hire car from enterprise. When I arrived At Manchester airport I spoke to branch manager who said I will new my own Insurance to cover the hired vehicle. He wanted to see my insurance before they could hire me the car. “Bald tyres and double charging”

Hired a car from Enterprise at Glasgow airport. A week or so later we noticed the front left tyre was completely bald and the front right was almost gone. ( We were in the Scottish Highlands with rain, snow and ice in January). Took the car to our nearest centre in Perth where it was agreed that the front left was indeed bald and should be replaced but the other tyre still had 2mm left! “Scam - check car with a fine tooth comb!!!”

I hired a car from Enterprise was given a very quick walk around the car with them pointing out 3 areas of scratches, one of which was on the front near side bumber. However when I took the car back they said I had 'increased' the damage. Two of the scratches were not immediately noticible. I find it quite ironic and the chances of probability are what? for 2 consecutive hires to cause damage in the same area??
