They did not answer me. I rented a car and asked several questions about full insurance. They did not know exact prices for that. Also I found it very confusing so I decided to cancel before renting with them.
Didn't have a good pre-feeling with them… Read Full Review

Enterprise car rental value was not as good as Enterprise would have us believe.
At the rates quoted on their website insurance cover is basic 3rd party with a £600 excess. For an extra charge of around £10 per day they would reduce that excess somewhat. Any damage to the vehicle within that excess is then charged in accordance with a menu of charges according to the type of damage involved.
On hire from Enterprise Basildon I was charged the total hire cost PLUS £200 deposit… Read Full Review

I hired a vehicle and paid extra to reduce the excess to £50. We did a quick visual check of the vehicle. When I arrived back a different member of staff said there was a slight dent on the passenger side of the vehicle. I could not see it looking face on, until I went to the end of the vehicle and knelt down. My problem is that both I and the initial member of staff booking the vehicle out did not kneel down and look across the vehicle (even though she said she did). Also they insisted… Read Full Review

Generally, I have had good service from them when all has gone well. I brought a car back with a small gouge in the front bumper. No idea how it got there, best guess is loose gravel on the road. The nice gentleman who checked the car in accused me of hitting a curb. Location and damage is impossible for that to have been the cause, especially since hitting a curb is a memorable experience. They charged me £360 to fix it, can't explain why it cost that much. The lady on the phone swore up and… Read Full Review

We had a hire car because of an insurance funded repair - we were not at fault. There was loads of confusion in first getting the car but returning it was a nightmare! We arranged collection for a Friday morning and were very precise about this as we were going on holiday. The company failed to collect the car and when we phoned they made all sorts of excuses and suggested leaving the keys under a bin! Can you imagine doing that? No doubt we would face a claim for a stolen car when we… Read Full Review

I was offered a car rental through Enterprise following a car accident that was not my fault and whilst my car went for repair. "Fantastic" I thought I could easily get to and from work and I would not be inconvenienced . I arranged with Enterprise over the phone to be picked up from the garage at 16 30 hours and that I would have a manual car. Apparently they turned up at 14 30 , the garage contacted them and they picked me up in an automatic car which I was told would be the car I was… Read Full Review

Rented the car without any problem. However, when we return the car, we found a dent and two scratches. Instead of letting us know how much for the damage, they charged us $500 right onto our credit card. I had to find out looking at our credit card statement. Fine. I called Enterprise and they said they charged that amont because that's the deductible amount of our car insurance, but they will reimburse if the actual damage to fix the car is less. Now it's almost two months and we still… Read Full Review

We came in to pick up a car and while another associate was showing a car parked next to our vehicle, the customer opened the door and dented my vehicle. I understand the company provides insurance to the customer, but if your associates do not care for other customer's vehicles parked on your lot, then I consider that negligence. The fact that damage is not a concern to your employees when it comes to enterprise vehicles, is not surprising since they know the corporation is paying for it. Why… Read Full Review

I chose Enterprise Car Rental because they offered a pick up and drop off service. When I hired the car I was told that should they not have enough people to do a pick up or drop off then they will pay for a taxi. When it came to the end of the rental I was told they could not drop me back unless I brought the car back the next day. When I asked about the taxi service they said they would use in such a situation, they said they could call one for me but not pay for it. Call you a taxi also… Read Full Review

My company uses enterprise for vehicle rentals as their preferred supplier but recently I rented a vehicle from them for personal use. I arranged a van to help with my move from house to house. I booked a high top van with the guy on the phone as I wanted to get the job done in as few trips as I could. The van I hired was in an accident the day before I was due to pick it up in the morning. This can't be helped. What happened afterwards is a tribute to the great lengths the team at the… Read Full Review

To begin with I must state that I wasn't able to hire out a car from Enterprise Car Hire. I'd called 4 days before and made a booking for a Class F (Ford Mondeo, Volkswagen Passat) car. I was after a car with cruise control and was told that they couldn't guarantee one and it was up to the local branch to provide one if they had one. I totally understood this and agreed. I went ahead and booked a car of this class for the weekend and was told that they have a pick up service where they'd pick… Read Full Review

Hired a one way rental to go from my workplace to Gatwick. They dropped the car off in the rain and said no damage, when I checked there were lots of scratches.
When dropping the car off a worker discover 2 extremely small chips in the windscreen and wanted to charge me for the windscreen. I argued with them for over an hour with the supervisor until another employee checked the records and saw it was recorded against a previous rental. If they knew about it why wasn't it on the form?
Because… Read Full Review

The car was ok given that it was a diesel and not the make I had requested or had been told I would have.
Before we got in and drove away the employee asked us to have a 'quick look round, make sure you're happy with the car and there are no faults'. We had a good look round and I noticed a scrape on the rear. I was puzzled why this was not pointed out to me by Enterprise but left to me to find it, as they said they had all their cars' faults logged in their computer system. I started to feel… Read Full Review

Sure they are cheap but the reservation system and customer service is terrible.
I reserved a car online, was a half hour late to pick up and they had given my car away. It was the last one on the lot and they had no other car for me.
They had my cell phone number and email, both of which they could have used to let me know they were releasing my vehicle or confirmed I was coming in but didn't bother to notify me.
I came in the following morning and explained what happened. At the Seattle… Read Full Review

I rented a car from Enterprise and would recommend that you never go to this shop. All the goodness I received from them I feel was only to get few additional bucks from my pocket. The salesman asked me to take additional insurance but never mentioned that there will be a additional cost for that but asked me $100 more during final billing. … Read Full Review

Enterprise Car Rental is better than the rest! Ask for the upgrade, sometimes free if reserved vehicle is unavailable. For an extra $2/day I got a Cadillac, instead of my Cavalier! I rented a car from Enterprise at LGA in New York for the new year. Service on the spot was friendly but after you drive away, you are on your own. Needed roadside assistance once and all I had was a please call back during business hours message. Returning the car is also a pain, they offer after business hours return at a hotel nearby but it's only for your convenience and they won't stop charging until they pick up the car, they never mentioned this when telling me to return the car there… Read Full Review
