    I booked a car in advance declining the additional insurance from Hertz. When arrived at the airport late at night and after 15 minutes wait in the queu we were told asked to sign an agreement and given the key. The agreement printed has the additional insurance I declined in the web booking.W ...

    For the people who were impressed by the Hertz's image but never rented cars from them I would also like to share my experience on how Hertz does business.

    I would not use Hertz again. Car was not cleaned properly, had to wait over 1.5 hrs for car at pickup point after the car was booked 3 months earlier, I would have expected the car to be ready, considering my flight arrived 30 minutes late.     Car was clean and reliable. Car was not full of petrol when picked up and then charged 3/4 tank of petrol for the shortfall when returned. Sent letter to customer complaints but no reply.
