have visited twice at enterkin house, service exellent. drinks out in the garden prior to dinner., enjoyed complementary canapies with drinks. Staff couldnt be more attentive, management staff very attentive, everyone appears to work hard to make your stay smooth, perfect and unintrusive. I recently booked an apartment in Spain through laterooms.com. Upon arrival, at 11pm, we tried repeatedly to contact the phone number for the apartment owner that we had been given. There was no answer and no answer phone service. My son booked a 2 night stay with Laterooms.com, and later cancelled both on the website and again by telephone 11 days before his planned visit. I was then charged for a "no-show" as Late rooms have NO confirmation he cancelled even though I could provide time and date of the call made.
Laterooms promised to call back and as of yet have not, so I am £65 out of pocket and neither they or the hotel will accept responsibility, even though they record ALL calls, of which a simple solution would… Read Full Review

Arrived at Middle Aston Manor tuesday afternoon on 26-4-11,we stayed for two nights and had a good time.The room was compact but very clean and quiet,beautiful surroundings, and good breakfast.My wife and myself would like to return again as we enjoyed our stay.Staff very friendly.
We did not have dinner so can't comment on that, but found the food at the White Lion pub in the village excellent.

We only paid £50 for a night and were not expecting Luxury but we did expect cleanliness no matter what we paid. The Hotel was Filthy, bedroom carpet had not seen a vaccum for weeks, Does no-one check these rooms are of a reasonable stanard before they are Let? im sure not. We arrived for check in at 3pm and were not allowed in until 6:30pm. Spent most of that time ringing and ringing the owner who never answers his phone to ask how we got in. Apparently we were supposed to have recieved an e-mail about codes and keys, which we didn't. After standing in the cold for half an hour waiting for yet another phone call, we were then told we were lucky to have got the room on such a good deal!

Dreadful experience. Highly deceptive wording that advertises 1 single room, sleeps one (what else can this mean!!) to find i was in a dorm with three others. NO ROOM AT THE INN
Having booked a late deal on Thursday night we were all set to get off very early in the morning on Friday. I decided before we left to check my emails only to find the hotel had emailed me to inform the room I had booked was not available and the hotel was full. Thanks to laterooms and hotel I could have ended up travelling to the lake district with no hotel to say in. The confirmation is meaningless, the hotel was not aware we had booked. Late rooms staff do not understand customer service and prefer to argue with you rather than deal with a complaint. Your complaint is ignored and there is no follow up.

BEWARE: Laterooms do not always include a bad review in their Reviews of places.
Although I have used these before with no problems, I have had a horrible experience this time. We booked accomodation for 2 nights at 10pm the night before at the Moness Country Club in Abergaveny, Scotland. Good website to navigate through, good search facality to look for your required hotel or location. Cheap prices. Easy to cancel reservations via the internet but cancelling by telephone can involve a lengthy phone call.

Hotel Roma in Sliema, Malta should not have 3 stars Although the room was spacious the bathgroom was small and had a shower with a plastic curtain around! Breakfast was dull - two types of cereal and cheese,ham and bread. The plug for the kettle was broken and no tea, coffee or milk was provided. The balcony had a nice sea view but was right over a busy road, so noisy. There was an ominous looking crack in the balcony wall.
