“Friendly, inviting, fantastic!”

my family and i have just spent three nights at Wildercombe House in illfracombe . I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a really relaxing and enjoyable stay. i cannot praise this place enough. My only critisism is as lovely as the photographs are on the web site, they simply do not do this place justice.The entrance hall is simply breathtaking and once seen you are left reassured that there will be no problems with the room and you would be right. “4 star hotel turns out to be a B&B needing TLC - Claremont”

So we booked for a holiday in Bournemouth. After extensive search my wife found a 4 star hotel named Claremont Hotel in Bournemout for 85 GBP a night for 2 adults and a toddler. When our satnav stopped our car in fron of this "hotel" it turned out to be a just a 2 floor building and a bit dated back in time. We were hoping for the best, the owner greeted us at the reception. “Be wary booking with www.laterooms.com”

Shocking Customer Service and be VERY VERY WARY of which deal you choose with this Company. If you make a mistake they do not listen and neither do the hotel Managers who will take your Money. I pressed confirm without double checking my details and have been charged £85 for an unrefundable room which they will not refund and I cannot attend. “UNRELIABLE!!”

Booked a hotel for a 2 night stay in London through laterooms. Just before we were about to set off got a call saying the hotel we had booked (through them) was full and had declined the reservation (laterooms had already CONFIRMED everything). As we were by now desperate to find somewhere (shows etc already booked for our stay in London) laterooms offered to find similar accommodation for us. “LATEROOMS book/ pay now and no refund should be their...”

We booked a hotel via late rooms, even though their policy is book now pay later was charged by the hotel on our credit card at the time of booking. I did not book with laterooms because of this but it was the only site that had rooms available in this location. Most of our other bookings are with agoda who are fantastic. An excellent self catering haven just minutes from main town centre and with spotlessly clean modern facilities. A warm welcome on our late evening arrival with basic food supplies and milk waiting, efficiently arranged car parking permit, and very useful information folder. Staff were friendly and helpful which is where it ends. We stayed 20th to 23rd April 'out of season'. Hotel rating was 3 star should be 2 star. a throw back from the sixties. I had booked with a hotel room in Orlando laterooms.com only to discover after a 12 hour journey that the hotel never received our confirmation and no rooms were available as it was the Easter holidays. The accommodation was easy to find. We booked a room through the website 2 weeks in advance, received the email confirmation, credit card was charged. all seemed fine. When we arrived at the hotel there was no reservation, and no help offered form the front desk, very rude in fact, told us we should call direct next time, and not look for discounts. “FLEXISTAY IN TOOTING”

I try to be fair in my reviews and give the good and bad points equal time. However I need to make an exception and focus first on one of the worst things about this hotel -- they have a BAD problem with mice. We made a reservation, received confirmation, email, etc. I was lucky to call the hotel to confirm check-in time. They said there is absolutely no availability for tomorrow, even after I gave them my reservation number. I am so mad, I will go to all the sites that gather laterooms.com reviews. “Not fare and honest with the clients.”

This site is terrible, do not use it. I made a reservation with them at 4 pm for the next day. I never recieve the confirmation e mail and when I tried to cancel during the night for a personal problem, I was not able to do it because I did not have the e mail and confirmation e mail to do it. “Guesthouse cancel nightmare”

Although laterooms.com are not responsible for the rooms they list a cancel on day policy does not exist. I was disappointed that when my wife and I did not want to use the room at the guesthouse because it was not at all welcoming and messy outside,our name had been scrubbed out of the booking book,staff were rude from the start and the room looked like a storeroom.We decided to reject the room.
