I arrived at the Premier Inn only to be told that they didn't have a record of my booking, I showed them my booking reference and was told that it was not their number, so they sent me to another hotel (and they didn't offer to call them to check the booking, for me first). We only paid £50 for a night and were not expecting Luxury but we did expect cleanliness no matter what we paid. The Hotel was Filthy, bedroom carpet had not seen a vaccum for weeks, Does no-one check these rooms are of a reasonable stanard before they are Let? im sure not. The bedding was spotless but nothing else was, the sink and toilet bowl were dirty, there was rubble and dust on the bathroom floor, this was due to refurbishing of the building but clearly the windows had been left open and… Read Full Review

We arrived for check in at 3pm and were not allowed in until 6:30pm. Spent most of that time ringing and ringing the owner who never answers his phone to ask how we got in. Apparently we were supposed to have recieved an e-mail about codes and keys, which we didn't. After standing in the cold for half an hour waiting for yet another phone call, we were then told we were lucky to have got the room on such a good deal!

Dreadful experience. Highly deceptive wording that advertises 1 single room, sleeps one (what else can this mean!!) to find i was in a dorm with three others. “NO ROOM AT THE INN ”

NO ROOM AT THE INN

Having booked a late deal on Thursday night we were all set to get off very early in the morning on Friday. I decided before we left to check my emails only to find the hotel had emailed me to inform the room I had booked was not available and the hotel was full. Thanks to laterooms and hotel I could have ended up travelling to the lake district with no hotel to say in. i see what you are trying to say but i as a late rooms user knows that it does not have all the information it needs to inform the hotel or person who is booking the room weather it is avalable, so to be honist dont blame to hotel because the get insuffictiant data from late rooms to say that you have booked a room, so the plas derwen were only doing thier job on informing you that there was no room avalabilities, so realy you should be thanking the plas derwen for informing you on this

“The confirmation is meaningless, the hotel was not...”

The confirmation is meaningless, the hotel was not aware we had booked. Late rooms staff do not understand customer service and prefer to argue with you rather than deal with a complaint. Your complaint is ignored and there is no follow up.
Until they change their manner I suggest you use their site to find a hotel and book directly… Read Full Review

Read the terms and conditions of the booking next time. You will clearly see that it is up to the hotel to accept the booking, laterooms are liable for the hotel not accepting the booking, the hotel is. It is upto the hotel to update their availability at all times.

<br/>The public is so quick to blame laterooms when it isnt them its the hotel, and half the time when the customer says laterooms dont deal with the complaint you can be certain that the guest hasnt actually made a complaint the hotel themselves.

Yet another person who has failed to rean the terms and conditions ... you will clearly see it is up to the hotel to accept the booking they are liable.

Do not stay at the beverley arms. It is dated smells of fags and chinese and is generally of very poor quality. A law should not allow late rooms to advertise like this whatever they say jane mcbride

What a great place to unwind and do a bit of sightseeing.We had a 3 day break at the Halfway house Wadebidge Cornwall booked through late rooms.The pub the room and the breakfast were first class.The owner and his wife friendly and helpful but not intrusive.Though you had a direct private entrance to your room from the guest car park you could also access the pub/restaurant through another door in your room so no need to go outside for your evening meal/night out which was useful..A word on the… Read Full Review

My husband and I booked a 5 night stay at the Commercial Hotel in Wishaw. The rooms were very clean, great value for money, staff were very friendly. Good food. The heating wasn't working properly and the General Manager got it sorted for us that morning. We loved this hotel for the close proximity to family. BEWARE: Laterooms do not always include a bad review in their Reviews of places.
Although I have used these before with no problems, I have had a horrible experience this time. We booked accomodation for 2 nights at 10pm the night before at the Moness Country Club in Abergaveny, Scotland. Good website to navigate through, good search facality to look for your required hotel or location. Cheap prices. Easy to cancel reservations via the internet but cancelling by telephone can involve a lengthy phone call.

Good Points: Good website to navigate, reasonable prices, good reviews with pictures, Quidco commission available.

Hotel Roma in Sliema, Malta should not have 3 stars Although the room was spacious the bathgroom was small and had a shower with a plastic curtain around! Breakfast was dull - two types of cereal and cheese,ham and bread. The plug for the kettle was broken and no tea, coffee or milk was provided. The balcony had a nice sea view but was right over a busy road, so noisy. There was an ominous looking crack in the balcony wall. We stayed here earlier in the summer for a short break, it's a very good base if you want to explore Lockerbie and surrounding area.
Our room was delightful, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed.
We had an immensely warm welcome and the great hospitality continued throughout our short stay.

The owners are friendly and serve a great breakfast in the morning. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.
The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable
If you are looking for something nice in the area, I would definately reccomend.
I highly recommend the Crown hotel for those who need a place to stay in the Lockerbie area. I had a very positive experience and look forward to staying at Crown hotel again should the need arise… Read Full Review

“We used Laterooms.com to book two nights at The Tom...”

We used Laterooms.com to book two nights at The Tom Mogg Hotel near Bridgewater. When we arrived, we were told that there were no vacancies and that Laterooms.com were "always doing this."
Contacting Laterooms.com revealed that it was "not our problem." They are just the middle men and any contract would be between ourselves and the hotel. Since the hotel knew nothing of our booking there was no contract with them either.
