“Waste of time go somewhere else”

Went to the Kidderminster branch and they were useless.on arrival asked if they could have a look at the tyre as I had a puncture told to wait and forty minutes later they finally had a look and said they didn't have that size and to come back next week. Went down the road to national tyres and ended up with four new tyres fitted within the hour. Brilliant customer service here… Read Full Review

“Fantastic service and very good value for money”

I had to visit the Redditch branch of ATS today as my exhaust pipe had fallen off and needed replacing. I felt stressed as I am from Birmingham and was on my own with 2 children,not only did the guy who served me get me the part from another branch straight away but he fitted it in record time so I didn't have to wait too long. “time wasting amateurs.”

Took my vehicle to ats Port Talbot for a pre arranged brake inspection due to screeching back brakes. After 20 minutes the fitter called me to the bay and said he could not remove the wheel nuts and to take it somewhere else with an industrial wheel gun ! Also, he could not find any info regarding the brake set up on my vehicle which far from being something exotic is a London Cab and is the oldest manufacturer of British vehicles to date. I have found ATS very very very incompetent, and they have caused loads of damage and are completely clueless about what they are doing.....

Makes me wonder what criteria are required to get a job at ATS..

“Lack of care and consistency”

Went to Huyton branch for a tyre check as the offside rear tyre was showing low pressure on car's pressure warning system. Branch found 2 screws in the tyre and repaired the tyre by plugging it. One day later the tyre pressure warning system showed a pressure loss against the same tyre. I returned to Huyton branch and was informed that the tyre should have been replaced as the puncture was too close to the tyre shoulder. “very poor service”

Took my Wife's 2009 Fiesta to The Eastleigh branch last Thursday for a booked Service and Mot 10am received a call at 2pm saying there is a big problem with your brakes, we think the Master cylinder may be faulty.We were told to take it to Hendy Ford we had asked them to check the rear drum brakes when carrying out the service.We booked the car in to Autotune Service and Mot centre in Hedge End the next day, on arrival the Engine Management light came on my Wife explained all to them, lunch… Read Full Review

“RIP OFF MERCHANTS”

I took my car into ATS Bury, to have my rear brakes looked at, as there was a grinding noise coming from the rear right hand side of my vehicle and would they fix a puncture for me on the rear left hand side tyre. I asked for the garage to ring me to let me know after diagnosis, how much this would cost me to have this fault remedied. “Rip off merchants!”

I have a Fiat Panda Dynamic, which decided one day that it didn't want to reverse anymore. The car would go into gear but when trying to reverse the rear of the car would rise and stay put. It would go forwards after sticking a bit but any attempt to reverse failed. “Dreadful Company”

Fitted two incorrect front tyres at Cwmbran depot. Different make to what had been ordered and paid for. Initially on the phone tried to deny tyres fitted were incorrect, and this resulted in the inconvenience of travelling back to the depot to prove them wrong, which I did. Took a week for them to order the correct tyres which they fitted without so much as an apology for the inconeveince they had caused. “Good fast service, but very expensive”

I used blackcircles.com for a new tyre, and chose an ATS garage for it's convenient location. They advised me that my rear discs and pads needed replacing. I already knew they were nearly due for replacement, and I'd been having problems with the handbrake. I went to take a look, and could see it needed doing. They quoted me £210, and said it could be done quickly, so I foolishly agreed. On the plus side, they ordered the parts, and they were delivered within 20 minutes. They worked… Read Full Review

I took my car to ATS, Queens Rd Newbury for MOT, and it failed on brake calliper, and said it would cost £165.00 with labour for new calliper (but did not mention you get £35.00 refund on old calliper) then when i took it back for retest they charged me another £20 for retest,(none of the other garages ever charged me for retest) i won't be going back there again, what a rip off… Read Full Review

“LLANELLI BRANCH! RUDE, ARROGANT, PIGS”

This afternoon I took my mazda6 into the branch to get the brakes bled as my husband had replaced the front brake pipe,but pedal was still feeling soft. As soon as we got there, the old, fat, bloke that obviously checks the brakes snatches the keys and decides to drive my car at speed in the public car park, slamming on the brakes. Stay away from Llangefni ATS. Dropped car off in morning for MOT. Told them I would be back at 5 and to give me a ring if anything needed doing to get it passed. No phone call so thought all was good till I got into reception and they handed me a list as long as my arm. So I asked how much to sort it and the lad picked the phone up pressed one button and instantly asked price on wishbone ball joint then put phone down. Looked at me and said it will be a £100.
