Ive traveled with Aer Lingus for many years and always found the attendants to be friendly and helpful.I think if you got an attitude with these people its because you likely brought one with you. I remember in 2005 I was taken ill on the plane and kept quiet about it .Upon landing I could barely navigate on my own much less attend my luggage.These lovely ladies took over and helped me from the plane and attended to every detail.I got the same concern at customs and a friendly cup of tea and... Despite paying over $8,000 for 3 Business Class tickets from Glasgow to Boston the flight was the most stressful experience I have ever had travelling. It is now the end of my 2nd day in Boston and I still have no luggage and Aer Lingus Customer Services have still not returned my call. I have spent the evening in my hotel room alone waiting for a bag to be delivered while my husband and daughter have gone to the basketball without me. I know the bag is not coming. BHX-Dublin-Orlando-Dublin-BHX. Very impressed with quick check-in at BHX, short flight to Dublin left on time and arrived early. Pleasant airport to hang around in while waiting for connection. Again, very impressed with flight to Orlando, food quality and quantity was very good as was the seat-back inflight entertainment - our 2 children were kept very happy! I wrote a review last night 2nd September 2010 and it seems to have disappeared. It was unfavourable.
I have been unable to book the latest offers - prices come in much higher
e.g. am being charged taxes and charges when your add say that they are included. Does this come in under false/misleading advertising? One of the worst airlines ever and very rude customer service. To get to the customer service it will take 45 minutes. If you are traveling in economy you are screwed, you have no options to get your returns. If you plan to change your ticket you will be charged 95 GBP / ticket.
Also another stupidity is, you have to pay for changings your seats in the place you like, I'm not sure why do they charge for the tickets then.

Had to fly economy as this was only option available on what was considered a short haul flight, even though we were traveling from the United States in/out of Dublin. Had to pay excess luggage fees that cost more than our tickets as well as more than four nights at a five star hotel! I thought only EasyJet and Ryannair played this sort of scam. Note to U.S. Based travelers flying to Europe: Do Not Fly Aer Lingus! Where I able to, I would give ZERO stars. (read more)

The flight was very uncomfortable due to the extreme low temperature-It was FREEZING.
Despite many requests to increase the heat- no response, no blankets available. The flight attendants could not care less- I was told it was cold spot on the plane and to grin and bear it. (read more)

Not Bad. While the seats were a bit small, I'm a tall guy so I understand - being stuck between two big guys didn't help. However, service was wonderful as all the FA's were pleasant and good-humored. The in-flight entertainment was good and there were a large number of options, though the pilot seemed to love interrupting with inane babble. The food was passable, but decent by airline standards. We sat on AE Flight 105, Sunday, June 20th for over FIVE (5) hours at the Dublin airport. We were offered, during that entire time, ONE (1) glass of water. That was it. There were babies, young children and elderly on this flight. Madee no difference. We were then towed to another gate and told to get off and wait. Last April I went to San Francisco with them for 333 Euro each way including taxes and charges!! The flight was bang on time, airport was good as usual and the aircraft was a lovely A330. It was good Friday and it was full but everyone calm and enjoying the flight. Nice takeoff, funny safety video and their new TV's in front of you are great.
