    Just completed a Chicago-Madrid-Chicago trip on Iberia. I had been led to believe (from sites such as this one) that Iberia was the Delta Airlines of Europe (i.e. as bad as it gets).     We spent almost 8 hours in Havana airport and there was no explanation for the delay, no information about our connection flight. Only one thing is sure, we will never fly again with Iberia.

    As a captain on a offshore support ship I travel a lot around the world. Thought I seen it all until I ended up on a Iberia flight. Never experienced worse service anywhere on the planet. Lost my luggage in Barcelona and will probably never see it again.

    I had a wonderful experience on Iberia airline. I would recommend this airline to anyone. Unfortunately, I don't plan to go to Spain anytime soon so I do not think I will fly it again.

    Worst Flight Ever cramp seating, not leg room, service is poor.
    Iberia Airlines is a sorry excuse for an Airline. They should take more care in there customers next time.

    Can sincerely say that Iberia provided the worst flight experience I have ever had. My sister and I swore we would save up extra and fly with someone else next time. Service is so rushed. They offer you a drink, bring the food (no choice on this particular evening flight) and then are offering coffe ...

    I missed connection flight to Brazil. I am stacked in Madrid airport where they are already taking 4 hours to put us in Hotel. I will also miss connecting flight from Sao Paolo to Curitiba. They will not compensate me for this connection flight. They are very impatient, disorganised and arrogant. I ...

    It proved impossible to get a response from Iberia, they did not reply to either emails or letters. I would have got nowhere without the assistance and persistence of our travel agent Latin America Travel who are excellent. In the end I got a few extra Iberia points on my travel card.

    On return I complained by email, got no reply, by post, got no reply. Only by the persistence of my travel agent did I eventually get a response after over 4 months of trying. I was then eventually given some points on their travel card. Their failure to be contactable or to handle complaints is out ...

    Terrible airline, awful service. Reliant on the fact that there isn't much competition in flying from Europe to South America, but there is a big demand to fly from Spain to South America. Can't wait for open skies to allow others to fly from Spain to South America.
