Never again, the flight was a code share with British Airways, with whom we normally fly. It was on a par with the budget airlines, Easy Jet or Ryanair, having to pay for even a glass of water on the plane. At least with a budget airline you know what to expect. Iberia could definitely learn from ...

I tried to be as positive and as patient as possible because I read so many negative reviews from other folks. Now, one thing I learned from this trip is that if you have a connecting flight, do not ever, ever take Iberia because every time they were late by at least 3 hours. Yes. Three hours. I t ...

Delayed 19 hours leaving Copenhagen. Virtually no information, not offered food coupons, hotel or refund. Asked to come back to the airport at 4 am, although it turned out that staff knew the plane would not leave until 10 am.
We have filed a complaint but after three months have not yet got any re ...

Outbound flight from London to Madrid was fine, no major complaints. However on the flight back to London, we arrived at the gate about 30 mins before the scheduled takeoff, to find the plane sat in darkness at the gate, with no ground or aircrew in sight. The take-off time came and went and still n ...

The staff are very unhelpful and made no effort to inform the passengers of the reason for the delay. We were delayed for over an hour and a half at Heathrow with no advice about connecting flights given. Once arriving at Madrid we were then not told if we had missed our flight and made to run to tw ...

The level of customer service in Iberia would make Attila the Hun look like the Queen Mother in comparison. They are living in the dark ages as far as looking after their customers. There is a large black hole in Madrid where customers send in their comments and complaints but nothing ever seems t ...

The Iberia aircrew turned up late for our flight from Heathrow, meaning we landed 1 hour late. Since we had boarding cards for our connecting Iberia flight from Madrid to Guatemala, we ran to the gate and arrived whilst it was still open. We were then told that we couldn't board because our bags had ...

All flights were on time. Very friendly crew. On the flight from Dusseldorf to Madrid there were no free meals on-board, but the service on the long flight from Madrid to Miami was perfect.

Overall, I think Iberia is a very professional airline.

Generally, the flight with Iberia Airlines was a very miserable experience, but I heard from very many people that Iberia are not good to fly with. One person told me it took them 3 days to get from Madrid to Buenos Aires, as they where sent via Mexico after Iberia overbooked their flight.

My outbound flight was nearly 4 hours late to take off. And I was very surprised that you have to pay for your own meal, considering Iberia is a national airline of a country and is part of the One World Alliance. This is the type of thing you expect to do on airlines companies such as Ryanair or Ea ...
