We took NorthWest flights London-Detroit - LA (and return). Flights from UK were good on an A330 which had seatback VOD tv's. Bad customer service. Booked my flight and charged $224.00 extra. On my flt. from Seattle to Narita they charged me again for $125.00 for oversized luggage. But was not charge on my connecting with United Airlines and Continental. If I have a choice I would not buy my ticket with Northwest, poor ...

On May 4, 08, I took the flight from Minneapolis to Tokyo, I disliked the flight attendants. First, the attendant who served me seemed a little deaf, she had to bend over to listen to what I said and once she walked a bit further, she couldn't hear me anymore.

Great! I have flown with this airline about 3 times and every time they had Very friendly staff, didn't feel rushed at all, meal was okay but that didn't bother me. Nice smooth ride, not too much delay.

Flight from EWR to AMS (15 May 2008).
As the electronic check in at the airport did not work, I had to request the help of a very unfriendly NWA staff member. After some tries he performed the check in.

After reading online reviews I was afraid I'd made a mistake by buying a NW ticket, but after traveling with NW I can see for myself that the travel experience was easy and fine. Flew from Milwaukee to San Jose via Minneapolis. Everything was ON TIME. Staff was helpful. Bathroom was clean.
