I have got a bt ak47 barrel on my 98 custom and the accuracy and distance of my marker has dramatically increased, which is definitely my favorite upgrade so far because it does not just look cool it increases the performance of it as well. This gun is like the m16 on the paintball field.The durability and trigger action are good. The barrel was the only problem I came across.

I hope this review has helped anybody decide to buy or not buy this gun.
I hope my choice of waiting 1 year before writing this will benefit others.
I would recommend this gun to any beginner who wants something to play with but also wants a gun they can upgrade

It's a great gun, i don't think its just a starter gun its a great gun for the price i think if you get some good upgrades it will be an awesome gun like mine

I used one of the Tippmann Model 98 before. I liked how accurate it was. I recommend buying this gun to start off with someone who loves to play woodball.

The Tippmann Model 98 Custom is easy to use and it is a fun gun to go paintballing with your friend. But sometimes it does not always fire when you pull the trigger

I have used my Tippman Custom 98 for many years and it has been loyal, easy to clean and very dependable. It is a great gun to use. I recommend it to any occasional paintballer or rookie paintballer.
