I had an unexpected crash in my finance position a few years back. Capital One issued me a most welcome Visa and Master card account. This was a most welcome relief, and started my recovery. They kept their commitment, and have since increased my credit from $300 to a sizeable amount. Kudos to Capit ...

I used to like the Capital One credit card company until I realized how hard it was to get to a MC representative!
The number on the back of the card does not allow access to a rep., as a matter-of-fact there is no way of getting to a rep.!!! Pressing "0" does not link you to a rep. and all it does ...

I applied for a Capital One credit card in February. It's now April and I still haven't received it despite four phone calls and flimsly excuses based on "it's our policy" to take forever to issue these. Why do they advertise "What's In Your Wallet?" on TV all the time when it can't possibly be a Ca ...

The Capital One Platinum Credit Card 3.9% balance transfer rate is excellent if you are unable to payoff the balance before the 0% rate expires typically 6 - 9 months offered by other cards. Monthly payment is same as other cards but interest charged a lot less so you see the outstanding balance re ...

Capital one has been the best credit card that I have had. The platinum card has a good rate and they regularly look into giving you more credit as long as you make your payments on-time. I would mail the payment on a Monday and it would post to my account on Thursday or Friday at the latest so the ...

Despite ignoring at least one pre approved card offer for every 3 months for the last 3 years, I read that Capital One were a good company on an online review and decided to give them a go. I applied for the platinum card with a pre-approved limit of £10000 and waited. A refusal came back! Hav ...

I have never had a good experience with Capital One and should have known better than to try them again. But with an offer for a $20,000 limit Platinum Card with 0% interest for six months I tried them again. Bad move.
The card arrived with a whopping $500 limit.
Then when I checked my credit ...

The Capital One Platinum Master Card is a rip-off!! Capital One sent us a pre-qualification letter to apply for this card, promising up to $5,000 credit limit. When the card came, surprise!!! was a $250 limit on it, and already charged a $59 annual fee. Asked Capital One to increase the limit on it, ...
