Customer Service representatives do not know their products. If there is any opportunity for them to complicate a problem they seem to fall into it. For a large company, not to be accessible by phone is ridiculous. The aggravation that causes will create nothing but consumers switching from the Capital One credit card to another credit card company.

I firmly believe they have provided me with the worst customer experience. If your card gets lost or stolen, it will takes weeks for them to replace it. I received a credit card from Capital one without any hassle, but for excellent service they should be phone accessible. I am getting charged a late fee in error which I do not plan to pay because I have proof of payment before the due date.

Don't get the Capital One Platinum credit card for their rewards plan. It's horrible. They're point to flight/hotels etc. exchange is *at best* 1%. They don't publish this, so it's important to let folks know so they don't get burned (as I did).
