When I saw the trailers for The Green Wing I knew exactly what to expect. Pretentious Channel 4 comedy as I am well used to. It was actually amazing that the trailers were SO representative of the programme itself - i.e., when I actually got to see the programme, there were no surprises whatsoever.

Green Wing - It's typical Channel 4, so a cracking good series. Love the personnel officer, in fact give her my email. Working in a hospital is very similar, I know, I work in one. In fact, the series is under-played. Keep up the progress, C4.

Green Wing - Absolultely nothing like "The Office" (or a rip-off of it either) as on the negative review....
It'll grow on you! Have faith!

Green Wing - Set in a hospital, this new comedy hits in all the right places. The first episode was weak (apart from the Heap and Theobald moments) however it is improving well.
With some of the best actors around (ranging from Coupling, Brass Eye, Spaced, Black Books, the list is nigh endless), ...

Green Wing was meant to be Channel 4's Friends replacement right?? Could they BE MORE WRONG?? The 'humour' is predictable 3-year-old stuff, the cast have no chemistry and it is plain dull, dull, dull. The speeded up bits make it feel like you are watching a series of sketches. I didn't laugh once ...

The trailers gave the impression that Green Wing would be a fresh, new comedy series; in fact it looked like a feeble attempt to mimic 'The Office' in a hospital environment. I managed a whole half hour before the groans got the better of me.
This failed on all points, total garbage.
