“Scams”

I had same problem as many customers - ordered online in November two track suits which were main presents for my two children. Money was taken immediately and then last week when no product arrived I emailed and heard nothing. Phoned numerous times and you cannot get through then eventually got through to be told no stock and money will be refunded - so they had my money in their bank two weeks multiply that by everyone on here and that's a nice way to make money from customers. “Do not use!”

Ordered a pair of trainers on dec 4th 2013. 3 phone calls later after buying told lies that they had problems in the warehouse, now told on the 16th of dec that my trainers were out of stock! “Disgusting Customer Service, Will Never Use Again!!”

Last weds place an order online for a t.shirt and trainers to be delivered next day, 2 days later the t.shirt arrives but no sign of the trainers! apparently these are out of stock, after ringing and emailing and chasing with no help and now being told they are in stock. 8 days later still no trainers or refund! just written a formal complaint absolutely fuming!!… Read Full Review

“Not going by the agreement ”

Right first of all I have just looked at my orders tracking and I found out that my trainers are on the way, but the reason that I am disgusted is by the fact that I ordered the shoes last Friday at 15:00 bst and I paid that few extra pound for a Saturday delivery, JD clearly stated that if the order was sent before 16:00 bst then the trainers would arrive the next day, 4 days later and I'm only just about to receive them, it's ridiculous, I know it's only a few extra pound but I paid that… Read Full Review

“Order was cancelled and the never bothered to let me know”

I placed an order online and my payment was processed and I received a confirmation email. This email told me how they processed orders really quickly. After 3 to 4 working days (and a weekend in the middle of these) I went on to my account to check the delivery status. I could not find my order. After contacting customer services I found out that they had cancelled my purchase. Thanks so much for letting me know and offering an alternative product! “Fuming!”

Ordered some chinos that were too big and sent back via Yodel. I paid via Paypal and noticed that after tracking the item back to JD Sports warehouse that they hadn't refunded me. 2 emails later and no response I called their Customer Service to be told that I would not be getting a refund due to there being pet hair on the trousers! Placed ordered for a birthday present order with next day delivery. Chased order 5 days later only to find out they haven't really got the item in stock but they have already refunded me ( nice ) but don't generally tell people this information! Going to wait for the goods to come back into stock in John Lewis ( they are the same price and you get free next day delivery) good customer service goes a long way… Read Full Review

“Very bad customer services in store and on head...”

I was unable to collect a cap I had ordered on line due to ill health. Sent my husband to collect and he explained I was unwell. They point blank refused to let him have the cap He had the order number and explained he had paid with his pay pal account, even went to car to fetch my disabled badge to prove he was my husband. bought trainers online. Out when delivered so Hermes throw them over the back fence. Rain comes down, suede trainers ruined. JD sport take them back with full refund. I write a letter of complaint only to get an apology 'but it wasn't really us it was Hermes' type of reply and as a gesture of goodwill I can have 10% off anything up to the value of a tenner. I ordered two items online at 17.45 on Sunday but accidentally duplicated order as there was a problem with my Internet connection. I rang Customer Services at 18.00 to cancel one order but office had closed. Would not accept cancellation email either. I rang Customer Services Monday at 8.00 and, after being kept in a queue for half an hour, I was told that I couldn't cancel order as cancellation has to be done one hour after placing order. Went in for trainers with my daughter. Lady was very helpful but got them home only to realise that they were different sizes! A 7 and a 9! This would have been a simple mistake and would have been fixed easily but when i took them back, the cashier would not swap them! She said that it must have been something I had done! “Disgraceful customer service”

We purchased an England kit for my 3 year old son from JD Sports at Luton airport. When I got on the plane I unfolded the kit and found that the shirt had blue marker pen all over the bottom half of the shirt. We contacted JD customer service and were told to return the item. This was back in July. We received the kit back today with a curt letter saying that there are no manufacturing faults and as such we cannot get a refund.
