ACT! 2005:
- Crashed
- Dog-ass slow and this is not because of MS SQL, but more than likely bad coding in relation to SQL handling. I challenge you to prove me wrong.
- BEST/SAGE had a chance to put another nail in the coffin of MS CRM, but you know what, with this kind of release out to the pub ...

Diddo on everything below. A few nice new features but surely not worth it. Wish too that I didn't jump in before reading comments. I'm annoyed and it's going back. Been using act forever.

Okay, so there are certain products that I value enough to get the update as soon as it comes out. Finale is one of them. My Serif products are another, although for most purposes I use the Adobe version of the product.
And I used to get the Act upgrade without fail. And, actually I did get Act 2 ...

Best Software, ACT! 2005 - I have used ACT since 1994 for myself and now a 10 person office. I bought and enjoyed every upgrade until 2005. I am returning this for a refund! This software is not ready for market and I find it impossible to understand why it is being sold. The application is pains ...

Best Software, ACT! 2005 - Could not keep the system from crashing and operation is very slow even with a 1.8 ghz processor and 512 mb of RAM. Act! kept crashing Microsoft Outlook and required cold reboot to correct. There are some nice new features but that is more than offset by the loss of many ...
