“Constant outage problems”

I joined Virgin media a year and a half ago and primarily use it for online gaming as I thought having a 60MB BB speed would be adequate, how wrong was I. The only game I play, regularly is Battlefield 3 and it is unplayable due to constant lag. I am unable to join European servers and the American severs are not much better. “7 months of hell .... ”

I have been a Vigin Customer on the unlimited 60mg package for 7 months. In that time I have had engineers around almost monthly as I can see the wireless signal on all my devices, but it is so slow I cannot even run a speed test!!! This is intermittent and happens most evenings and afternoons - we sometimes get what we are supposed to be paying for. “Over priced increase”

This company have increased the price once again, they say if your not happy about this then tuff, there is a clause where you can get out the contract without early disconnection fees applied. If you hear HIGH UTILISATION, that means over subscribed in the area where you wont ever get the full use of the service. Broadband will be very slow. “Worst Customer Service Ever!!!”

things will get worse, i Used to work for this company, so glad im out of there, get the customer off the phone asap so we keep costs down, double speed supposed to be free, but its not, your price is going up whether the customer likes it or not, a lot of people will bite their lips, the over priced increase means you can cancel the service without early disconnection fees applied, i know i would and have, robbers and NO value for the money, Always has faults where they cant fix.

“movies old rubbish”

I've "up-graded" to the top movie package and what a load of rubbish it is. it's being cancelled in the morning. as all films programmed and on demand are decade's old. “Consistently Crawling Internet Speed”

2 Years ago I left Virgin due to very slow internet speeds. When my BT account came to an end, Virgin pestered me on the phone with promises that their internet speeds had increased, their new system solving the problems from before. high utilisation means you will never get the correct speeds, and also over subscribed customers in the area, charge full price for a service they will never get you, i used to work for these people, so glad im out of there.....

“When your reach exceeds your grasp...”

I Have been with virgin for very long now, Even when they were NTL. I never really had a problem with virgin, except the fact that my P2P downloads are capped at 2mbps (i can deal with that tho to be honest) But then they adopted the "Acceptable use policy" and everything changed: I am on a 20mbps UNLIMITED download limit connection, so naturally i assumed i can download what i want and not worry about it. I have been a Virgin Media customer for years, in fact right back to the days of Telewest. For approx the last 4 months my broadband internet connection speed has been awful. I am currently subscribed to their SUPERFAST 100mb service but I am lucky to get SUPERSLOW 1mb on evenings and weekends. “Frustrating”

we changed from Optus to Virgin wireless internet because the plan was better and they use the same network so assumed the serveice would be the same. The service has been hopeless. Internet is incredibly slow and cuts out frequently. We are are much worse off than we were with Optus. Customer service said Virgin customers wait in line after Optus customers. Hi ive been a loyal customer to virgin for about 2 years i pay my bills on time so i keep my end of the agreement the same cant be saud for virgin. “Lies, untrained staff and managers with poor services.”

We have been having issues every month for over 2 years. I upgraded to the fibre of VM almost 8 months ago hoping that it will resolve the BB issues we have. I got the Super hub in the fitted and found that there were more issues. The BB troubles didn't stop there at all. I would be on the phone every other week with issues. I got everything i asked for with Virgin Broadband, as far as the actual service goes. Its if you run into a problem that the trouble crops up. Virgin Media have offshore call centers, in India to be exact. I'm sure this is great to keep their costs down but not so great for me. Go somewhere else. Paying for 30mb, regularly get about 300kbps. Rarely get more than 15 Meg Using the router in modem mode, fibre optic etc. Cannot create a faster setup. Left me without a working phoneline (despite billing me for one) for nearly a year. “Got what I paid for”

I joined Virgin Media in November 2012 60Mb broadband and telephone. A friend recommended me He got £50 off his bill and I got free installation and the two men who came to install it were brilliant and were very pleasant. when they showed me the speed i would get it was 66Mb more that the 60Mb I was promised.I got my first email to let me know my bill could be viewed on line.and the money would not be taken from my Direct Debit till December 17th I also got an extra £30 off my first bill.So… Read Full Review
