Up until about 4 weeks ago I would have said Tisacli were pretty good then all my problems started,

My connection speed was capped to almost dial-up speed inhibiting my work (I'm self employed and rely on a fast no limits conection) Tisacli have refused to comment, by the way.

    You try and spea ...

The connection is unreliable and keeps cutting out. Tiscali's technical support, while very polite, are no use at all. I decided to cancel after 12 months of problems. There is nowhere on their website that tells you how to do this, so I wrote to customer services. I received a reply stating tha ...

Tiscali - After using my previous ISP (BT openworld) for ADSL (512/256) as a home user for the duration of the 12 month contract, I decided to shop around for an alternative supplier. I had not had any problems with BT whatsoever in terms of connection and speed, but was not happy with the price I w ...

I have been on Tiscali middle range broadband (£20 per month) for over a year now and have to say it has been very good. Occasionally, and I mean very occasionally it has taken a couple of times to connect but then it has been fine.

One of their servers was out of action for a couple of da ...

I use Tiscali Broadband 150k, £15.99 pcm. If you plan to move your home within the contract period watch out! They are going to charge you £50! That's not all, it takes 15 days and for that work and while you don't use the service for this period still they take the monthly payment! If y ...

Please, please, please do not use Tiscali. You will be sorry. All the negative reviews are correct, they are very polite, etc., etc., but are absolutely useless. Don't use them unless you are a NASA astronaut or can figure out on your own what to do if things go wrong.

    Although I finally got it w ...

Tiscali - Having used BT as our ISP for a fair while, I was angry by the way in which they had changed things over time. The crunch came when they reduced their so-called Anytime package to 150 hours per month. I knew I had to do something. I had been toying with the idea of Broadband for months, bu ...

Tiscali - I signed up via a web link from look4broadband late November last year, the free modem turned up within a week and I was up and running in a few easy steps. Even my wife said how easy it was and she doesn't really use the computer.

Never had any reason to complain and have now taken Ti ...

I just use the Tiscali dial up service on a LOCAL rate. 1p a minute. I can't justify broadband at the minute but if you want cheap, reliable dial up use Tiscali

I signed up for 512 Broadband over a year ago with Tiscali. I have used it at 30 to 60 Kbytes/sec at all times of the day and had a very quick and stable VPN sync into work. No hint on contention. I pay £19.99 (More expensive than some operators) but now they have a 50 hour capped service at ...
