“Cant get through To Call Center. Then Told Lies”

I never knew the company i booked my holiday with had used Thomas Cook. After getting the flight reference and going on their website to book the last 2 xl seats i got an error message and they advised me to call. Got through after being on hold for 40 minutes and the guy said the seats had already been booked. i realized that it was i had tried to book them and tried to cancel it at my end. “Customer Services must be understaffed”

The issue I have with TC is that you cannot get hold of customer services, I spent 35 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer the call before getting cut off .... I simply cant understand why the company thinks that letting CUSTOMERS wait in a queue (at their expense) for that length of time is a solid business foundation. Only BT is worse. … Read Full Review

“Travel Agent Which Does Not Provide Any Meaningful Support”

We were unfortunate enough to be in Paris during the recent terrorist incident. We tried for over 2 hours calling various departments in Thomas Cook to try to get back home, but all departments said that they could not access our booking. We had to wait until a local office in UK opened at noon to get any sort of response. n May 2015 I booked a holiday on line with Thomas Cook /Airtours to Kavos Corfu. I booked last minute. What I did not know is that Kavos is a well known 18-30 resort I am 56 and my husband is 53. wrote a review about my holiday booked through Thomas cook never wrote a review before but I was so disappointed with my holiday at the pyrgos apartments in malia that I thought I should let other holiday makers know but Thomas cook said it didn't meet their guidelines ? “Awful Customer Service”

A request to have a small mistake edited in a booking for flights has been refused by Thomas Cooks despite the flight being six months away and the change being requested minutes after the booking. 7 calls to various customer service numbers, literally HOURS on call centre waiting queues and just told that no-one can help... really? We booked an expensive Ruby Anniversary trip driving route 66 in a convertable. Had decided to take a 7D/6N Domestic Holiday to Rajasthan with Thomas cook before entrusting them and going on a Overseas Holiday. And Thanks Goodness for that. We flew with Thomas Puke on 14th Aug 2015 for a two week stay In the Smartline Vela Hotel in Icmeler in Turkey, may I add that this was all inclusive,I will start with the flights, we paid for seat choice on the outward and return flights seats in row 3 , but on the return flight we were given seats in row 34 as the seats in row 3 had been already allocated to some one else after we had paid for them. The hotel was lovely,downside were all the steps if some-one bad on the legs certainly wouldn't have suited Food great,we also were upgraded to a super posh room with out asking with a sea view. Flew Thomas Cook to Turkey from Bham and was surprised at the new spacious plane including an in flight film which I haven't had before on a medium haul flight such as this.
