The ocean village cruise round Greek isles and was absolutely fantastic no faults at all!! Flight home from Crete to Glasgow cancelled without good enough reason! Thomas Cook then sub contracted us to Flyglobespan - bearing in mind this was going to be a smaller aircraft type - a 737 for 5hrs is not good! Not only was everyone on the flight home left in cooked up cramped conditions, we were not allowed any suitcases in the hold and told our luggage would be taken to any UK airport and could… Read Full Review

My friend and I booked a holiday 2 weeks ago that was advertised on the Thomas cook website. We chose to book it over the phone so that we could request a pool view. When booking the apartments I had the web page in front of me and read off all the relevant details, it therefore amazes me that when I went to collect my paperwork yesterday I was booked into the wrong apartments. The one I actually wanted was now fully booked and the best they could do for me was to offer us alternative… Read Full Review

Very rude staff onboard was refused a bottle of water just because the trolley had gone passed me without us realising. We had turbulance nearly all the way home,it was the scariest flight I have ever been on. Both journeys there and back were pretty much the same. No costumer care policy at all very very rude! The staff need to learn some manners… Read Full Review

Booking Premier was well worth the extra - priority given when boarding - comfy pillows and quilts - wine or juice whilst waiting for the plane to board. Our cabin crew were excellent and did not stop working to ensure that everyone had a good flight. Good choice of films and meals etc. Made long haul flight pass quickly… Read Full Review

On our departure from Dublin airport to Zakynthos we ensured our party of seven were one of the first at the check in desk, queueing before it opened and being 3rd in the queue. We were horrified to learn that despite booking the holiday months in advance, service air had no record of one member of our party on their system. They proceeded to make phone calls checked us in a couple at a time and in total delayed us for approximately 40 minutes. When we received our boarding cards we were… Read Full Review

This holiday was a cheap break but it's the best holiday I've had. As soon as I got back the following day I booked a 2 week holiday for me my partner and 3 kids for next year. Can't wait to go back… Read Full Review

An hour and three quarters in the aircraft on the tarmac awaiting the arrival of a replacement senior steward. Just one glass of water each provided. very little help whatsoever provided either at Antalya airport or over the next three days by staff (in spite of repeated phone calls) to recover our main case that had been taken in error by another passenger on a T.C. package holiday to his hotel. The promise by a T.C. rep. at the airport that we would be sent a PIR Report to enable us to claim… Read Full Review

Thomas Cooke rep was a lovely girl and did her job very professionally. She has a lovely attitude with the guests and goes out of her way to help people.
Booked early and had it in writing I would be in Oura Praia in Albulfeira Portugal, but on arrival was put into the CPO building.
Manager of CPO informed me I couldn't be moved until four days and could sit in reception the four days if I wished to. Very arrogant. Only for my rep getting me moved to the Oura Praia I would have had to sit in… Read Full Review

Before taking our holiday we called their customer service number well in advance to ask if we had the hotel room all day on the day of departure since we did not leave the resort till 1.30am the following day.
We were told of course no problem etc by Thomas cook advisor!
However Come 2pm Monday the 30th we return from the beach after our last day of what had been a brilliant holiday only to be told we had to pay 50 extra Euros for the room we were staying in!
So basically in-between 12pm… Read Full Review

Thomas Cook must be the worst tour operator in the world. Their (lack of) Customer Service department leaves a lot to be desired. I booked a holiday to Cuba on-line with them in Jan 08 for travel in Oct 08 flying premium class. A couple of months ago I received a letter saying that the advertised 4" legroom difference was no longer applicable as they had reconfigured the seat pitch in the standard cabin to 33". Premium cabin is 34" so £169 per person for 1" extra legroom seems a bit steep. Two… Read Full Review

We wasted our time telephoning Thomas Cook Customer Services, the time we waited for a reply would probably cost us almost as much as a holiday. I listened to "What a difference a day makes" 23 times one day and then got cut off! I wrote a letter of complaint to TC on 14th February and didn't get a reply until 17th April and it seemed clear to me from their reply they hadn't bothered to read my original letter properly. Some of their staff were rude and arrogant with us, and told us misleading… Read Full Review

I have just visited my local Thomascook agent to complain about having my holiday to the Maldives cut short by a day. They also didn't seem to care that they would lose my booking & that I wouldn't be booking any more holidays with them. (previously spent around £15k over 5 years)
What a great company!… Read Full Review

Hotel staff friendly and mostly happy. Having travelled with Thomas cook on numerous occasions the brochure details for this accommodation regarding everything has let both them and us down, resulting in a very expensive, long awaited disappointing holiday for us. We feel this holiday would be ideal for families with very active children who will be well looked after by an excellent animation team; not for couples as per brochure looking to find peace and relaxation… Read Full Review

Well I was sceptical to begin with as we've heard nothing good about Thomas cook, however they did find me a good deal, so I was willing to take the plunge, and now I kind of wish we hadn't.
When I entered the Thomas Cook shop I sat with the advisor and told him I wanted somewhere fully inclusive, anywhere but Spain (we go there every year!) and the resort must have a beach nearby that is sandy as that was where I would spend my entire holiday! As an extra preference, somewhere not child… Read Full Review

The flight was great with Thomas Cook. My partner is 6ft4" and always has uncomfortable flights but for once had LOADS of leg room which made both our flight much more comfortable (9hours to Florida).
Food was great. I was impressed with the flight as I has heard very bad reviews earlier this year so expecting the worst so was glad to be proved wrong! Flew out from Gatwick 10th May and returned from Sanford Orlando 24th landing 25th May
One thing that wasn't particularly great was when we… Read Full Review

We went to he hotel Caribe in Portaventura on 5/5/08 for 2 weeks we were very board not a lot to do. It rained a lot but when it rains they close all the food places and places to get ice creams so you have to go hungry. The rep was just a wast of space. Coach home was a joke first it was not our coach they got to round about and decided she had another sheet and it was our coach so had to come back for us. We then went to every hotel to pick people up but when they got to last hotel pickup… Read Full Review
