Will never fly with them again. Truly awful. Well, we got vegetarian meals even though we'd booked them but they had no record of this on board. Cramped. Rude cabin crew. After 8 hour delay in airport they took 2 hours to get drinks to some passengers. Meal was served after 3 and a half hours. Off hand attitude. Will never fly with them again. We booked our holiday in Nov 07 and prior to us paying 9 weeks before we found out that our holiday to Cuba has dropped by £600 (not as a cancellation or sale) the company said nothing can be done. So it is now time to pay the remainder of the holiday. I've had two letters asking me to pay but I cant get through, I've been cut off countless times, I've left 7 messages and e-mails that are being ignored!! am I going on holiday in 7 weeks? Flight now has a block on it and it could be cancelled, departure airport changed, flight date changed, carrier changed - all currently unknown. All I want is confirmation flight is okay or opportunity to cancel and cannot get either from Thomas Cook which means I cannot alter my holiday as I am not prepared to fly with Monarch and will only fly Thomson or First Choice. I booked a holiday to Egypt and 2 weeks before I was due to fly my hotel was changed. I looked at the reviews for this Hotel and to say the least they were garbage. Thomas Cook agreed to repay my holiday in full, I have a telephone message to this affect, I am still waiting. Is November to April regarded as reasonable time for refunding by the holiday industry. My husband I flew to Cuba and stayed at the Playa Pesquero in November 2007 and we were not impressed.
We upgraded our flight to premium this was a joke! Aircraft was dirty, cabin crew announcements unprofessional, we had to beg for drinks (these were included in our very expensive upgrade), food very poor, head phones did not work, toilets dirty with an unpleasant smell and there were no complimentary newspapers as advertised in their brochure.

I flew with Thomas cook in January 2008 from Gatwick to Barbados. I have to say the flight out and return was so bad that it has put me off of flying ever again, I have suffered panic attacks and nightmares at the thought of flying and I will not be going to a destination that requires flying to again.

Booked a holiday 7 months in advance to Egypt and were told 2 days before we flew out they had changed our accommodation. We were given no alternative and told to like it or lump it. The hotel they put us in was disgusting and in the middle of nowhere and not a patch on the 5 star that I had booked and paid for. On returning we have sent several complaint letters, emails and made several phone calls, none of which have been replied to. Thomas Cook have also changed our hotel to what I class as a lower grade hotel. We would not have found this out unless I had kept on at them, they insisted that I was still staying at the hotel we originally booked. I have constantly sent letters and emails to them, but they are ignoring them all. NEVER again will I travel with this company.

We have traveled to Tunisia twice with Thomas Cook and both times have found them to be very efficient. On arrival at the airport we were told where the coach would be. We were given some information there and then. The meeting the following morning was informative and entertaining. At no time were we pushed into buying excursions.

Thomas Cook Jewels of the Nile Cruise. MS Terramar was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed this holiday more than any other we have had. The ship, the crew, the food, the accommodation was excellent. We booked with Thomas Cook to visit Turkey for the solar eclipse in 2006. We had the date and airport changed a couple of months before departure and the hotel changed just days before. We had paid extra for a sea view room and we found ourselves in a building the furthest away from the sea that was possible. It was an independent travel agent saying Thomas Cook had moved us from the Mamlouk Palace to the Holiday Resort Hotel. There was no negotiation it was this hotel or nothing. The plane on the outbound flight was dirty, there was chocolate on the seats, bits of food down the sides of the seats, the magazines were few and far between and the ones we did have were old, grubby and covered in greasy food stains. Booked a holiday with them to later discover that the prices for the time we are booked to go are not even out yet and Disney Paris are not bringing new prices out until May!
When confronted them they told me I was charged last years prices!!! I booked my holiday with Manos but then they got taken over by Thomas Cook and I was told I would be getting a new invoice and booking reference. I phoned loads of times and every time was told it would be sent it never did arrive and now I have received a letter changing the flights by 2 days.

Like you we booked through Manos 2 holidays in Zante for 2008. In November 2007 Thomas Cook wrote to us stating "Although a change in name your holiday is in safe hands!" It certainly wasn't! In Feb 2008 we received 2 letters canceling our flights from Newcastle and without any compensation rescheduling them from Manchester. Needless to say the extra cost and inconvenience was totally unacceptable. Therefore we have been forced to cancel, I have emailed them numerous times, incurred big phone bills when kept on hold I've even written twice to the Managing Director, the response I have received is nil. I've complained to ABTA and sent a copy to Thomas Cook again I doubt I'll receive any response other than the usual "Read It!" email.
<br/>I hope you manage to rearrange your holiday schedule.

After been charged for my holiday twice to Ibiza ,the 4 star hotel we were staying had no record of us booking, we were moved across the island to a 3 star hotel and told that there was no chance of us getting into our original hotel. We rang customer service and were told we would just have to get on with it. I rang my Daughter back in England and had to ask her to try and sort it out for us, 3 days later we were moved back to the original hotel but it had caused us a lot of stress and money… Read Full Review

We recently flew with Thomas Cook to join a cruise ship in the Caribbean,the flight from hell. Ten hours like Sardines in a tin.. They say in thier web site that they have changed the seat configuration for added comfort on the A330 Airbus,its gone from 2/4/2 to 3/3/3 one extra seat in the width and the narrowest possible pitch.
