I booked my holiday with Manos but then they got taken over by Thomas Cook and I was told I would be getting a new invoice and booking reference. I phoned loads of times and every time was told it would be sent it never did arrive and now I have received a letter changing the flights by 2 days.
I will never book with Manos or Thomas Cook again… Read Full Review

After been charged for my holiday twice to Ibiza ,the 4 star hotel we were staying had no record of us booking, we were moved across the island to a 3 star hotel and told that there was no chance of us getting into our original hotel. We rang customer service and were told we would just have to get on with it. I rang my Daughter back in England and had to ask her to try and sort it out for us, 3 days later we were moved back to the original hotel but it had caused us a lot of stress and money… Read Full Review

We recently flew with Thomas Cook to join a cruise ship in the Caribbean, the flight from hell. Ten hours like Sardines in a tin.. They say in thier web site that they have changed the seat configuration for added comfort on the A330 Airbus, its gone from 2/4/2 to 3/3/3 one extra seat in the width and the narrowest possible pitch. The flight was part of a package with Princeess Cruises who we have cruised with many times but, never again if we have to fly with Thomas Cook… Read Full Review

We booked our wedding through thomas cook to get married in Bali, all info seemed good, good price and extras. Turned out they messed everything up and we are waiting to see if we really will get married in Bali in march. Thomas cook are the worst holiday company weve ever used, especially when it is a most important event for us.
Never again, would not recommend any holidays with these people.
Cheers … Read Full Review

my husband suffers with epilepsy so sitting together a must told we had to pay extra, hotel was fine except a problem with a nest of ants which bit me ended up with hospital treatment for a solid seven days couldn't go out in the sun, hotel changed our room, but Thomas Cook did not believe hospital reports or my own GP's notes, any excuse like clothes food drugs, even the photos they said was black dots on the floor. Coming back problem at check in they wanted extra money for baggage and we had… Read Full Review

Booked an amazing dream holiday through Thomas Cook. The advisor was able to provide excellent knowledge and gave us loads of great advice. The ability to pay as and when was also a great positive… Read Full Review

Arrived in Antalya, Turkey and there were no Reps visible when coming out of the airport. After dragging our bags around the car park for a time, we finally spotted a Rep across the street. She was the grumpiest woman alive and looked as though she needed a good night's sleep. She looked like she would rather be anywhere but with us, and she only grunted in conversation with people. She told us to go to bus 9, and after dragging our bags up and down the car park a few times, we realised… Read Full Review

Booked our honeymoon through Thomas Cook on the high street (made them price match their own website which was a couple of hundred quid cheaper than the shop quoted price!!!!) Staff in the shop were helpful. Tried to pre-book seats via Thomas Cook's website which kept crashing; tried to ring them up but never got past position 16 in the queue!!! They opened flight check-in at the airport an hour early (was ok for us as we were already there and 2nd in queue), but despite this our seats on… Read Full Review

Travelling with Thomas Cook Airlines was bad! Jammed into the seats for 4 1/2 hours with no room to move. Blood supply just about stopped. Never again.
Athena Beach Hotel has small, rocky beach not suitable for children.
Stood for an hour waiting for a coach for a boat trip which never arrived as trip had been cancelled (?) but Thomas Cook rep unaware of this. We arrived at Hotel early Monday am (0130) and Thomas Cook Welcome party was held at 1100 that same morning. At the meeting everybody… Read Full Review

We booked for the first time to fly with Thomas Cook. We knew the hotel we were going to as we had been before so that wasn't a problem. However when we stepped on to the plane it was a different story. I am 4' 11" and even I found the seating very cramped. Most of the men were sitting with their knees under their chin for the whole flight. On the way out the aircraft had little tiny screens that popped down every so often so didn't see any films as couldn't see the one on the front of row… Read Full Review

Booked through Thomas Cook in Bangor, North Wales after being let down by Olympic Holidays when they cancelled our booking in Rhodes and offered us sub standard accommodation with no refund. Thomas Cook staff were excellent and found a better quality hotel package in Rhodes for £300 less than Olympic were charging and than we were quoted by First Choice in Llandudno. Brenda was excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable… Read Full Review

In the main a great holiday had in The Algarve, Praia Da Rocha staying in the Villa Rosa.
Indeed the hotel reception is 24hrs a day but wasn't as helpful as one traveller on TripAdvisor claimed. To be honest the room we were given fell seriously short of the usual Thomas Cook standards and I can only guess that TC Staff don't inspect the rooms before we weary travellers arrive. In their favour it was spotless, but even for me the smell of bleach was overpowering, anyways I digress it would… Read Full Review

We were delayed for 10 hours flying out. Once boarded, we were then told we would be flying to Manchester (from London Gatwick) to pick up cabin crew; adding a further 45 minutess to the already delayed journey to Heraklion, Crete.
The coach transfer to the resort was fine, although the coach transfer back to the airport at the end of the week was possibly more unbearable than the flight out. For an hour and a half we were harrassed by, and unfortunately sandwiched between, a group of about… Read Full Review

We have been holidaying abroad for over thirty years, but, until August 2007, we hadn't traveled with Thomas Cook before.
We will NEVER travel with them again!
We had booked with them months before we flew. Our tickets had arrived a few days before the holiday and we just carried on packing as normal the evening before departure. When checking everything was in order, we noticed that their baggage limit was a miserly 15kgs as everywhere else is 20kg! As a normal adult suitcase holds about… Read Full Review

Went to Ayia Napa in Cyprus in June07, booked through Thomas Cook staying at the Nestor Hotel. When we arrived we were informed that there was a fault with the baggage hold and luggage would be forwarded to our hotel that evening or next morning at the latest - "Guaranteed".
Whilst sceptical about this there was nothing else we could do, especially as Thomas Cook staff made it clear that they had completed their job by informing us of this.
Luggage eventually took 3 full days to reach us… Read Full Review
