Our flight was delayed then cancelled because of flight member illness. Foreced us to stay in Atlanta and refused us access to our checked bags. Then when we got to St. Lucia after lossing a day of out vacation at a Sandals, they lost out bags!!! 3 days in a tropical paradise in only jeans and long sleeve shirts. Most pathetic experience throughout my life. As a customer i felt duped after the end of the flight and all credit goes to the rosy marketing language and Delta's distorted sense of terms especially "breakfast".

I flew out of Wichita and went to get my ticket from the self check. I didnt have a seat. So i waited in line at the gate for 40 minutes. Finally when it got to my turn, the lady started calling boarding passangers on. I told her I didnt have a seat. So after everyone went through she finally talked to me. This was my dads first experience to be flying with Delta he had planned to go to Mexico,Guadalajara. He had a family emergency. I have never had one good experience with Delta airlines. Both times that I have flown with them the flight has been delayed and an awful time. With less than 12 hours left until my flight to Montana, Delta delayed the flight a day and a half do to a lack of booking. I lost a priceless day of skiing, my payment for a day at the hotel, and my temper. I had planned a lot to do for that first day but that was all wasted. Never use Delta Vacations.
Very, Very Bad. $727.00 more for Delta air and hotel, London.
Delta Air Lines does not allow Delta Vacations to sell their lowest priced airfare.
Delta Vacations told me this when I complained,
and I confirmed this by viewing Delta airfares.

Hi there, my experience with Delta this past weekend was terrible. I am a frequent traveler for business, and chose Delta on this occasion due to a price savings - however, had I understood the true lack of customer service and overall care from the airline for the delays and inconveniences they caused, I would have never selected this airline.

I read some very bad reviews on here about Delta Business Class, but Delta had the cheapest direct London - New York Business Class flight. Check in was a breeze, lounge good, had a nice full english breakfast. Flight attendants were brilliant, however, think they were around when Noah was a lad! Food and drink were plentiful and the flatbeds were very comfortable. Before i flew with Delta i read some reviews on here and i was worried that I was going to have a late flight, rude staff etc But I had none of it. It wasnt delayed at all, the cabin was clean and quite spacious for economy. On the outbound flight the staff seemed not to be wearing all the same uniform more like smart casual and the staff where very laid back. So... Delta Airlines is the world's BIGGEST airline... with the world's WORST service. Rude. Inattentive. Refuse to tell the truth. Cabin crews that do not want to interact with passengers... that act as though you are an annoyance and an inconvenience to them. Do NOT ever take Delta. Yes, I haven't gone on this trip yet but I rate their customer service a big, fat zero. Due to their recent engine failures on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, I requested for a cancellation and refund for my tickets. I have always been scared of flying and there was no way I was going to feel remotely comfortable flying on a Delta aircraft that has 99% of having an engine failure. Absolute rubbish company. Unhelpfull staff at check in and customer services. Ended up missing flight due to their inability to use a computer then had to stay ay Heathrow overnight and pay US$ 250 for the privilidge of getting the next mornings flight. DO NOT EVER FLY DELTA!! I boarded my flight from Dallas at 6 AM and was only way to SD via a layover. During the second journey of my flight they arrogant, racist stewart came mumbling peanuts,pretzels, cookies.. I made the atrocious blunder of asking him for peanuts & cookies.. I would rather try to swim to New York than fly with Delta again
My friend and I flew to New York for a long weekend. We booked direct flights from Manchester 11 months before travelling but they told us after a month that we would have an internal flight in America on the way home. That meant coming back via Atlanta - two hours in the wrong direction so leaving NY 2 hours earlier and arriving home 3 hours later than planned!

My flight took off from SFO to NRT. I have flown many times to Tokyo, however this was the first time on Delta and this will also be the last. The only reason we chose Delta was because they arrived at around 5pm in NRT instead of later in the day. The price of the flight was comparable to JAL and ANA so it was not a price issue. i had a terrible flight from phl -alt-lax-syd, due to storms on the US east coast,my flight into lax was late ,hence the sydney bound flight had left-and the flight leaving the next nite to Syd was already overbooked

Apparently with delta airlines, even if u check in online but don't come to the airport an hour early, they give away your ticket. In that case they tell you either you an go on the next flight and pay $50. If next flight is booked all the way, which is the case most of the time, you have to pay close to $300 to get on a flight for next day.
