“Always issues when I fly with Delta”

I fly a lot for my job. I always dread seeing they booked me with Delta. I understand about weather delays. And the occasional mechanical issues. I boarded a plane at JFK and it was over 100 degrees on it. They said that it would cool down once they started the engines. We backed away from the gate were told we were cleared for take off. “Pleased with flights”

I enjoyed my 2 long-haul, international flights with DELTA. I travelled from the UK to Guatemala in Central America, going from England to Atlanta, USA and then from Atlanta to Guatemala City. Upon my return, I flew from Guatemala City to Atlanta, USA, and then to Atlanta to Amsterdam in Europe, before flying from Amsterdam back to England. “Delta cancels at their discretion without compensation”

My son flew TLV-AMS_JFK on Delta in October,2011. Upon arrival in AMS, he was informed that flight was connecting flight cancelled “due to sudden technical problems” – next flight was 24 hours later. Dutch airline regulator decreed that Delta had ‘ infringed the regulation by not compensating passenger ….EUR 300”. “On July 21, 2012 flight delta from JFK to Miami”

I am absolutely shocked and angry at the treatment of a couple with two babies who arrived at JFK from tel aviv and after going through customs and arrived right at the door of the aircraft, they shut the door in their face and left them stranded for 7 hours. It wasn't their fault if the flight from tel aviv to JFK didn't make it in time. We will be seeking legal advise for this inhuman treatment , the only mistake this couple did is flying delta. “Continuous delayed flights, Emergency Landing, $100...”

All i can say is fly at your own risk. This is not the first time I have sworn I wouldn't fly delta again. This time i mean it. I flew Delta from Asheville to LAX. NEVER AGAIN. My first flight was delayed 3 hours. We took off, but the plane was old and had to do an emergency landing because of broken landing gear. “Never on time and never accurate departure or arrival...”

DO NOT FLY DELTA UNLESS YOU LOVE SPENDING HOURRRRRRS AT AIRPORTS. Hour long delay turned into 6 hrs, for a 45 min flight!!!! Flight arrival changed 4 gates, had to go through 2 security checkpoints and got offered nothing more than a sorry for the inconvience and have a nice flight. We were traveling to Key West from Nashville. Delta said we had to stop in Miami because we couldn't land in Key West because of a problem with the plane aqnd they needed 10 percent more runway to land than Key West offered. Delta said they were going to have the plane checked out or move us to another plane. Delta then said they were having a bus to pick us up and drive us to Key West. This was to take 45 minutes...the bus never showed. Delta then run us around in the aiport for 2 moire hours to take to their rep who was never where they sent us. My girlfriend and I ended up hithching a ride to Key West with people we have never met before. It turned out ok but still a bit unnerving, we just didn't know what else to do. Delta would tell us nothing! We were suppose to land in Key West at 9oclock, finally made it at 330 am. I have contacted Delta telling them that I wanted the money back for that part of the trip. Their response is that they would give back $17.00 because they got us to Miami. I purchased a ticket to Key West not Miami! And there is no such thing as a $17.00 air fare to anywhere. This company is one big theif.

“Ticket Price Scam”

if you are booking a ticket on delta and using your frequent flyer number, beware. The local news station just did a report on delta charging $100 to $200 more for an economy ticket if you were logged in with your FF number versus not using a number. In one test they tested 5 flights and 3 of them were more if you were logged in with your FF number. Delta said it was a computer glitch, yea right!… Read Full Review

Why at the check in at Dublin Airport can a passenger with small babies and children not get some priority. If a passenger cannot travel without their dog (I am not referring to someone who is blind) can be given a free seat for the dog, why can someone travelling with babies and toddlers not get some better treatment… Read Full Review

“Will never fly Delta again!”

We booked our Cruise about a year in advance. Flying out of Tulsa to Atlanta. Our Plane was late taking off in Tulsa and landed in Atlanta at 9:35 am. Our conecting flight wasn't suppose to leave until 9:40 to San Juan. The plane had already left before we landed. Delta had a flight at 11:15. There were 9 of us flying. “The most horrible airline with the worst staff!”

I have flown many different airlines on long and short flights, many trans-Atlantic flights, and none of them (even the ones from "third world" countries) come even close to Delta is the lack of professionalism, service and customer care. Delta's flight attendants can be extremely rude to passengers - have been rude to me on more than 1 occasion (and I'm not one of those conflict magnets). “What happened to customer service”

We booked business class London-Miami and we also booked a car through the DELTA website. Delta subcontract the car to a company called ISEATZ who failed to supply the car and refuse to respond to emails or phone calls.Delta are not interested in this lack of performance. We only lost $86 but it could have been worse so be warned DO NOT BOOK A CAR through the DElta website and avoid any contact with ISEATZ who are rude and inefficient… Read Full Review

“No Bereavement Help From Delta Here”

Delta Airlines gave us what we thought to be a reasonable price to fly on our 1 year annivary vacation. Unfortunatly two days into our vacation my father passed away. “Are Delta the worst Budget Airline in the US?”

I have had the dis-pleasure of flying Delta about 7 times and for the most part they were just about bearable. The Main Hub is fine, the Aircraft are fine. The big problem as far as I can see, is the staff, not the boarding crew, not the Pilots, nor any of the things we take for granted, but the in-flight attendants are the worst I have ever met. I was worried after reading the reviews about Delta before flying to Miami, but all was great I have been with several airlines before including Delta but that was in the 80's. “Terrible customer service”

Crappy and disappointing customer experience with Delta. They don't explain the "expiration date" on Certificates and eCredits under your profile online and I've lost $1,000+ in unused ticket value.
