“What happened to customer service”

We booked business class London-Miami and we also booked a car through the DELTA website. Delta subcontract the car to a company called ISEATZ who failed to supply the car and refuse to respond to emails or phone calls.Delta are not interested in this lack of performance. We only lost $86 but it could have been worse so be warned DO NOT BOOK A CAR through the DElta website and avoid any contact with ISEATZ who are rude and inefficient… Read Full Review

“No Bereavement Help From Delta Here”

Delta Airlines gave us what we thought to be a reasonable price to fly on our 1 year annivary vacation. Unfortunatly two days into our vacation my father passed away. Delta representatives didn't have any problem finding us a flight home or taking the $581. dollar penalty charge for having to fly early. “Are Delta the worst Budget Airline in the US?”

I have had the dis-pleasure of flying Delta about 7 times and for the most part they were just about bearable. The Main Hub is fine, the Aircraft are fine. The big problem as far as I can see, is the staff, not the boarding crew, not the Pilots, nor any of the things we take for granted, but the in-flight attendants are the worst I have ever met. “Delta is ok...”

I was worried after reading the reviews about Delta before flying to Miami, but all was great I have been with several airlines before including Delta but that was in the 80's. No problem, check in was smooth and fast they did not worry or quibble about my luggage, all in all it was a good experience. the staff were slightly older than the English airline staff but that was no problem and it was good to see this. “Terrible customer service”

Crappy and disappointing customer experience with Delta. They don't explain the "expiration date" on Certificates and eCredits under your profile online and I've lost $1,000+ in unused ticket value. When I called to give them feedback on how it may be a good idea for them to explain with a hover over box or explanation under terms and conditions exactly what "expiration date" means (you have to complete travel, not booking of the ticket by that date), they spent all of their time defending why… Read Full Review

“Nightmarish airline that will haunt your dreams! Beware!”

“WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DO NOT FLY DELTA”

The flight was delayed by 2 hours. My daughter failed to get her preordered vegetarian meal despite it being on our confirmation of booking they denied receiving it and she had no food for 10 hours. The plane was dirty the staff were extremly rude, my monitor did not work and although we upgraded to economy comfort we got no complimentary drinks as the staff were too busy to get them. “New bag broke”

So I was going to phoenix arizona to see family.I got a new bag for my trip.When I got to phoenix I looked at my bag and saw that the plastic feet on the bottom was broken off and the went through my bag and made a mess with my shampoo and soap, but did not leave a note like they are required to.I call them and they said they are not responsible for the bag braking and said nothing about the mess they left in my bag.I will never fly Delta!!… Read Full Review

“They do not help the disabled elderly....”

My father is in a wheelchair, there was no wheelchair assisstance on his layover they pushed him aside and left him there for 45min. almost missed his next plane, and when he arrived in Buffalo no one assissted him there left him sitting till he decided to push himself down to where my mother was meeting him, he has flown from Buffalo to L.A. plenty of times to visit all of his children on Southwest and US Air and have never had a problem, this is the first time on Delta and the last. “Comfortable, lots to eat and drink.”

I was really nervous about flying with Delta after I had read all the bad reviews as it was my first time flying. I made two long haul flights with them and one short (from Detroit to LA) and they all went really well. The staff were really friendly, there was plenty of food and drink and we were given a blanket and pillow to make it more comfortable. Although disappointed with the cancelled flight, I was pleased with the customer service representative who managed to get us on a different flight around the same time as the original one. “Window seat”

I paid extra for a window seat on the north side of the plane and was ordered by a flight attendant to close the shade so someone across the plane could watch the movie. When I refused to do so, she found an attendant with a moustache, a big belly and a bad attitude. He commanded me to close the window shade. I said, NO. “Poor Airline”

Very poor airline, delayed flights for all four flights, unhelpful staff, poor connecting flights were they tell you off and are very rude when it is not your fault the previous plane was delayed. Entertainment was similiar on the way there and back, do not take any notice when your throwing up for 8 hours on the flight. My husband and I timed this flight around our toddler's schedule, to ensure his cooperation and best possible behavior. “10 hours of boredom. Don't expect extras.”

We flew Amsterdam to New Orleans, a 10 hour day flight with very poor inflight entertainment. We had 4 back to back films (one child's, and 2 with Angelina Jolie) on a TV hanging from the ceiling.
