The Honda Civic, perfect @24000 miles except suspension clonks with nearside pot-hole contact, and notchy gear shift in winter especially when cold. Clutch or known gearbox trouble?

I have had my Honda Civic Type-R for nearly a year and I can honestly say it still puts a smile on my face when you hit 6000 rpm and you hear the distinctive VTEC whistle. Forget your new Golf GTi, they are nearly 4k more than the Civic and VW still haven't got it right. The Type R comes at a reason ...

You generally have to pay big money to own a naturally aspirated car which produces over the magical figure of 100bhp/ton. Granted, the Honda Civic Type-R is just shy of this figure, but only just, which makes it one of the biggest performance bargains around.

This Honda Civic Type-R car is awesome and brilliant! It's acceleration is rapid - she sings sweetly. A top speed of about 150mph - an affordable pocket rocket. A beauty that deserves to be driven very well.

Had my type R for just over a year and love it. Easy to drive lovely driving position, good acceleration, not had any problems with it at all. OK the engine noise is loud but you will live with that.
