will not be rushing back as one member of staff appeared very rude and unhelpful to us, seemingly because we had a young baby with us, who was not allowed to be in a buggy but had to have a highchair or a car seat, we used a car seat and were then moved from the table we were allocated because they ...

We have been going to the Shepherd and Dog for a number of years. We go back because of the friendly atmosphere and the quality of food. Yes, on a sunday it can be busy, but the food is well worth the wait. Be prepared for a wait at busy times on a sunday, but the wait will be worth it

I came to Shepherd and Dog in Ipswich with my wife and children for the carvery on father's day. I was looking forward to it, as I enjoy a good carvery with plenty of meat.
