    DVD player became faulty after 9 months (wouldn't load) so I contacted DMTech direct and they replaced the whole unit within 3 days.
    The replacement has worked fine for the last 18 months!

I am unable to find any technical support to help and Comet who sold me this unit, less than 9 months ago, cannot provide me with any help.     As mentioned above I am really disappointed that I now have to pay money to replace the DVD player. I would recommend that people doesn't buy this set as most of the experts seem to say the combination sets are a bad idea.

    The DMTECH DML-3117WD LCD TV is a good budget unit. it is popular at exhibition stands and trade shows.

    initially I had problems contacting the Technical support desk when I wanted a bespoke wall mount built for mine, but once I had contacted them, they were quite helpful.

    If you are looking for a low cost, high quality TV, then the DMTECH DML-3117WD LCD TV is the one for you; with its crisp and clear screen, and its high quality sound and DVD player quality.

    It truly is a good television!

    Unless you're on a tight budget, I would go for a 'better' (i.e. more well-known, whose reputation is more important to them) brand of LCD TV than the DMTECH DML-3117WD LCD.

    The DMTECH DML-3117WD LCD TV is a nice unit with a quality case, but on two occasions the units were returned; once because of 2 dead pixels, and the second time due to a DVD disk getting stuck inside the integrated player unit.

    My fix, when this happened on my latest unit, was to power up again ...

    Bought from Comet, my DMTECH DML-3117WD did not work from the box. Replaced, Replacement poor analogue TV picture and after a week the DVD stopped working. Took it back and changed it for a Phillips 17" LCD which in comparison is superb. I would not recommend this item, better to buy a brand name.
