    I too have had geometry and subwoofer humming problems with my Philips PW6515 32" widescreen TV. Philips provided a fix which involved plugging the subwoofer cable into a different socket within the TV. This provided a slight improvement but not enough.     I recently bought the 28" version of the Philips PW6515 32" widescreen TV. The major drawback with this set is when changing to superwide mode, chunks of the picture are lost vertically, very irritating.

    A lot of people seem to be commenting on the geometry problems of the Philips PW6515 32" widescreen TV.
    Surely Philips must be aware of this?
    In spite of all I read I went ahead and bought one.
    I am in general pleased.

    I have had 2 PW6515 sets.

    My original set suffered from a background hum and a pop when changing channels. The level of hum depends on the brightness shown on the screen. When running the sound through an external system (not using TV components for sound) the buzz disappeared - i.e. TV fault.
