    AirTran airline is the most unhelpful, rude, and poorly run airline that I have ever been on. Employees don't know the definition of customer service and don't care. However, at least they don't fake it - they're rude and aren't afraid to show it.

    Not sure what everyone is complaining about. I fly AirTran Airways regularly to Boston, Florida, and some other destinations.     First, we got to our flight AirTran from Orlando and they weighed our bag for check in. It weighed 63 pounds, which I didn't know was a problem, but oh well. I paid a $25 heavy bag fee for this.     My flight with Airtran, from Chicago Midway to Sarasota was awful! I paid 98.00 for a one-way.

    AirTran Airways - Not the worst experience, but close. Flew AirTran on the return leg of a Denver-Rochester trip, the outbound leg of which was on JetBlue. Maybe it's only the contrast to JetBlue, but the whole approach to customer service on AirTran seems wildly out of whack.

    My flight went great on AirTran Airways. The boing 717-200s are a pleasure to fly in they are state of the art and use a 100% fresh air system.
