Self and wife booked on flight London to Singapore and paid for preferred/legroom seats. Flight cancelled and placed on later flight with no preferred seats available. Notified by email, no offer to refund cost of preferred seats. After several emails and phone calls placed on different flight in preferred seats. LHR-SIN-DPS. LHR-SIN: Outboard on one of SQ'S brand new A380'S. Boarded on time at 21:05 for a 22:05 departure, however once onboard the captain announced that we would remain at the gate for an hour due to ATC congestion. However, the singapore girls were attentive during the delay, serving water and fruit juice and we were kept well informed from the captain. “disappointing internet check-in process”

I have always travel in SQ. But, the internet check-in is no longer what I used to like - it is now so terrible that I may not want to fly SQ anymore. Practically all seats are blocked, and one does not have any choice at all. Even when I called the office, I was told nothing can be done. “Declining service standards”

The standards of service is declining and this goes across the board in the cabin service, training of their staff and even behaviour which were the best in the past. “Held up with a gun”

Ok this happened a number of years ago but I have never flown with them since. After the 9/11 shock this airline went crazy with security. I am a skinny white, tall Caucasian and had a beard. Being born in Singapore and leaving when I was only 10, I had a Singapore written on my passport for a birth place. “Unhelpful and uninterested ground staff”

Today was meant to be my 4th trip from UK to Singapore in 14 months. I foolishly decided to book a ticket with Singapore Airlines even though it cost nearly 500 pounds for a single ticket, counting on its previous great customer service. “Online Booking System Ridiculous”

I think the Singapore Airlines online booking system is really ridiculous - when you book for a third person (a friend / a client) - anytime when you are not the one traveling, they will need to go in person to their office to show the credit card, and ID document with you photo on it! “my accident on board swept under the carpet.. careful !!!”

I was on my flight from Brisbane to Singapore when the stewardess hit me with the foodcart, I was sick for about 6 months.... Right from the start from the online booking, online check in to flying it was all just so good, in fact I'm finding it so unbelievable myself that I'm writing such a review as I'm a fussy one to say the least! “intimidating service”

The Airline is a more extension of the police state. It accepts no criticism and only tell dissidents to be prepared for “untold consequences”. I have flown to them many times and even redeemed a SIN-BCN return flight once. I flew with them once recently and it is the most appalling experience you can expect. “Top airline and great staff.”

I've now been on a Singapore airlines flight 4 times and it's always been a pleasure. The staff are great and don't stop. I had a 13 hour flight from heathrow to Singapore and it was pretty comfortable and the food is great with a great breakfast too. Also I was traveling with surfboards and they always came without a mark on them. This may be down to airport staff more than airline staff. They have some pretty good looking flight staff too. “not getting point from singapore because of a sytem...”

Singapore website failure and they won't accept their responsability....Book a ''Y'' class for accumlation and get a non accumulating class on their side. Miss your Star Alliance gold status for this year and the Next year....very nice... In September 2011, My mother made a booking for a flight from Singapore to Maldives with Singapore Airline. “Singapore Airlines made up of liars”

I was very disturbed by Singapore Air's customer service today. I put my child on a flight to Moscow as an unaccompanied minor and despite being told throughout the whole booking and pre-travel process (1 month long) that I would be able to go with my son to the terminal gate I was denied taking him there. While I do understand the security aspect of the situation the TSA was very understanding in my desire to stay with my Aspie son until he was put on the plane. amazing flight. I have taken this flight 4 times now and each time with a different crew, but exceptional standards. from check-in to arrival. Although during one return flight the plane was delayed for 2hrs, and another 1hr on the tarmac due to icing issues. The crew kept us adequately informed in regular 15min intervals.
