can i just say u people are complaining about ur own DL theyre all different DL HULL is lovely the staff are always smiling and very helpful not had any problems with money. tennis courts are big and out door pool is great in nice weather. but it is heated. sometimes you do wait a while for a coffee ...

David Lloyds has a three months cancellation policy.
I asked many times to cancel but they refused to do so unless I brought a letter in in writing. I said I didn't have access to a printer and they suggested a ask a friend to print it out and sign it. In the end I asked if I could just write out a ...

Member of Basildon Club since March I am forced to leave after 11 months as the club is local to where I work rather than live.

I have complained about the fact the notice period was never mentioned until I had joined and signed. David Lloyd sent the following reply;

DL is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with.
My Son has tried to cancel his membership using the correct procedure, but DL just cannot administer correctly.

I joined the West Bridgford David Lloyd back in June 2009.

Trust me, its very very expensive just to join the gym. Costing me £71 per month. Not much facilities in the gym area and carpets look filty and unclean.

Nobody ever talks to you. Booked for a personal trainer but he never turned up ...

They are generally just money grabbing and ludicrously expensive. Added to which their customer service is shocking. I think they reckon that we should all be incredibly grateful to thm for allowing us to belong to such a fantastic 'private' gym, rather than feeling that THEY should be grateful for ...
