    I've been with 121 for 19 months now and they are slow to respond to customer care, have bad coverage compared to Orange and Vodaphone who I have been with before.

    The trick is to find a location where the signal is adequate, make the call, find the right angle to incline your head and then don't move until you've finished the call.
    Only just joined (June 2000) after moving from Voda so have to endure this for a year.

    I believe One 2 One to be the best value Prepay phone provider of the four. The best feature is the free voicemail retrieval which is very useful. Connections are problem free in Liverpool even though I had great trouble with BT Cellnet on my previous phone with calls being disconnected all over the ...

    Not the best of networks I admit but in the 4 years
    I have been with them, I have got a better then satisfactory
    service.

    Yes - pay as you go is cheap on 121 and specifically the virgin service - however I get extremely bad reception around cambridge with often complete disconnections mid call.

    With the Smart Box making my landline calls cheaper together with low monthly rental (£9-99) and calls charged at 8p per minute and no contract, I could not be happier

    Worst coverage of the main 4 providers. Many people report that they have no signal in rural areas and I don't get anything in central London or Cambridge.
