Very good sound, isolation and comfort. Preferable over Koss Porta Pro if you dislike headsets.

Just ordered a replacement pair of Sony MDR-EX71 headphones from Ebay at £16 which is great. But shop prices are double that. Main reason for buying again was sound quality - excellent bass and treble. Can't understand why others have complained about sound quality - perhaps they need to try ...

I had a pair of Creative in-ear phones before this... lost them on holiday though.
Bought the Sony MDR-EX71 to replace them ... I seem to need the volume of my Creative Zen up by at least 15-20% of what I felt normal on the other headphones.
I'm sure you can get better, cheaper.

I like them. They block out all the noise around me. Sound quality is great. They are very light.

I have purchased three pairs of Sony's MDREX71 earbud headphones within the last year because I am a sucker. I kept coming back to this product because of the superior sound, but was consistently disappointed with one side completely going out. I love the bass and the clarity but something needs ...

My friend lent it to me for review. Compared to the EX71 im using, this sony lacks in everything; from bass to treble. It is zero value for money. fragile. horrible sound quality.

Overall I would say a great value for money though due to sound quality and durability...of course who would complain if you can get them cheaper?
The sound quality on these earphones, from my experience so far, has been second to none. Not only are they comfortable to wear but they produce crystal ...

My Sony MDR-EX71 headphones have a nice aesthetic design, especially in black. Fits in the ear well. The cord conducts noise into the left ear. This in my opinion is a design flaw and very noisy and annoying! The cord runs up to the left ear with a metal weight hanging off the left ear. The right ea ...
