I decided to give feria a try as the last time I had used Clairol herbal essences and felt the colour was very intense so thought feria seemed a good option with its multi tonal appearance. I used Feria expresso and after dying the colour seemed ok but has lightened with every time I've washed it since - I feel this was a total waste of money! After this I'll stick to herbal essenses, Thank you!… Read Full Review

I've been using L'OREAL Feria for many years, never had any issues!
It's easy to apply (always use an old shirt/towel when dying my hair), not running, gives my boring brown a nice colour.
True, the colour fades in about 2 weeks, but anyway, in about 3-4 weeks I reapply again.
Like the selection of colours although it comes out a bit darker than it is on the box... Therefore I try to use a bit lighter one… Read Full Review

I have tried every brand that I could find in stores and L'Oreal Feria is the only one with the color I want that lasts a bit longer then the others. But lo' and behold, since I wash my hair every day the color fades faster then I'd hope it would. But like I said, the other brands I've tried, the color washes out after a week.
I have spoken with my hair stylist and she said that red hair dyes are typically the first to fade before any other color. So I doubt there's really a sure fix to that… Read Full Review

Money saving meant that I could no longer go to the hairdressers every few weeks to get my hair highlighted, so I used the L'oreal metallic silver blonde colour as a cheaper option. The dye is a bit runny but not too bad, just be sure to use cheap clothes and towels while applying. The colour is gorgeous, not exactly the same on the box as it was lighter than I was expecting but it actually turned out better. I've used this twice, and the first time I did not use a shampoo specifically designed… Read Full Review

I love this product. I have had my hair colored by professionals and it is either to black or red. I have dark brown hair that I prefer to be a medium brown. I use the golden medium brown and it always comes out just right. I have even gotten compliments from my hairstylist.
I would recommend this product to anyone… Read Full Review

I found that the bright black is so blueish. I am an asian woman and the black looks fake on me too. This color is so unnatural on me. Luckily, in the past few shampoos the color seems to be rinsing out. Hopefully the color I dyed over will reemerge and I won't have to walk around with this fake looking hair anymore… Read Full Review

In my experience, it's a good dye to use, if you don't mind dying your hair again a few days later. Be careful with the colours, whats on the box and what it'll come out might be two different things… Read Full Review

LOreal Feria - I've always believed that you can never really achieve the same hair colour as it shows on the box but this product in my opinion was taking the mickey. My hair is a medium/dark brown and I used plum power on my hair and it came out very red in bits and slightly red in others.
I normally use loreal but had used this type of the brand as it had been recommended by many friends
has put me off home dying for good… Read Full Review

I died my hair the other day with Loreal Feria in "plum power" and it looks great! very shiny and not at all dull, the only thing is that it has slightly faded but only a little and that it is a little bit messy to apply but the result is great, very silky. I would recommend highly for people who wish to achieve light and dark multi-tones in their haircolour!… Read Full Review

BEEN USING LOREAL PREFERENCE (GOLDEN BLONDE) FOR YEARS AND RECENTLY SWITCHED TO FERIA (CANDLEGLOW) AND LIKE THE COLOR BETTER. YES, IT FADES BUT I FIND IT'S BASICALLY SUN THAT FADES COLOR; NOT WASHING. EVEN COLOR IT FADES TO IS REALLY NICE. I WILL KEEP PURCHASING IT AS LONG AS CVS WHERE I LIVE CARRIES IT. NONE OF THE OTHER STORES, K-MART, W-MART OR WALGREENS IN MY AREA CARRY THIS COLOR… Read Full Review

The colour booster technology in LOreal Feria was disappointing - it made no difference for me whatsoever. I'm very very disappointed with the result I got from this dye… Read Full Review

Loreal Feria colour had the consistency of fake blood from a joke shop, didn't take very well, thought end colour lacked depth and shine, made my hair feel dry and unconditioned
would not buy again or recommend to anyone… Read Full Review

I had bright, vibrant red hair and couldn't afford a trip to an expensive salon and so I had noticed Loreal Feria shade P67 'Scarlet Power' on the shelf which promised to give a bright vibrant colour boost and was close to my desired shade. BIG MISTAKE. I followed the directions on the instructions leaflet extremely carefully and accurately and decided to use the dye as it clearly stated that it was Ok to use on top of other hair dyes (except for henna dyes and progressive colourants). L'Oreal… Read Full Review

Was not happy at all. I decided to give Feria a second chance after having it washed out and faded on me years before. I couldn't afford the hairdresser so thought id do it myself. Beautiful colour at first but then washed out each wash, stained clothes and towels and ended up with a dodgy faded result. Very disappointed… Read Full Review

The colour booster technology it's not permanent and is the first thing to go down the plug hole. I have mid to dark brown hair so it's unfortunate that there aren't a lot of vivid reds or purples on general sale which is why I have used Faria several times even though it doesn't last.
If they could make this as a 6 week colour like Casting then I would be happy as the first 5 days of colour does look good and I wouldn't be left with months of the dull red to grow out… Read Full Review

You get a very beautiful silver color with LOreal Feria. The beautiful silver colour fades away really quickly and after a few weeks your hair looks yellow. Beautifull colour but it doesn't last long such a shame… Read Full Review

I purchased Hi-Lift Browns Downtown Brown... the box CLAIMED it would lighten your dark brown hair 4 shades... this was supposed to be a lightener for brown hair..... after 2 boxes and 45 minutes... NOTHING... it did absolutely NOTHING to my hair! Very upset... $20 spent on nothing.... might as well have just flushed my money down the toilet… Read Full Review

I was left with shiny, gorgeous hair, after using Feria. The shade (I used #63 shimmering amber) was more red than I had expected, but I received so many compliments, I wasn't too disappointed. My natural shade is light brown with hints of auburn. This product left my hair a very light auburn, almost strawberry blonde, with copper highlights. It does begin to fade a bit after two weeks, but the even the color it faded to was beautiful, not brassy, and the difference was noticeable only to me… Read Full Review

One of mine is the conditioner you use on your hair after dyeing. Can you use it again like regular, even though they don't sell the L'Oreal Feria conditioner separately?
And, if I use my own shampoo and stuff, will my colour fade after the first wash?… Read Full Review
