I have naturally dirty blonde hair with natural light blonde highlights from the sun. My hair is long, thick, and quite healthy. Yesterday I purchased Loreal Feria's ultra light blonde. I have gone bleach blonde before and loved it. I did everything I was supposed to, mixed the dye correctly, saturated my hair and let sit for 45 minutes. I rinsed and then put in the conditioner for two minutes, rinsed again.....but when I looked in the mirror my hair was ORANGE! I had bits and pieces of really… Read Full Review

I have had the same problem dyed my hair on 28 October and have had an itchy scalp since. I have used this product many times before and have had no problem. Just read an article in the Sunday Mirror about a woman who is in a coma after dying her hair with LOreal. Have they changed anything??… Read Full Review

I have used this hair dye previously, with no problems. so i bought it again, put it on and left for 35 mins. it started burning as soon as i put it on, but i ignored it. about an hour after washing it out, as my hair was starting to dry, i felt MASSIVE blisters all over my scalp, which hurt a lot. I am wondering if it is the dye that has changed or if it is me that has changed as like i said i used it before no worries! I will definitely do the patch testing in future even if it is a brand i… Read Full Review

I've been purchasing Feria products for the past three years. I've tried just about every hair color (black, brown, red, blonde, and now violet) and loved every one of them. The conditioner included leaves hair feeling soft and looking very shiny, and luckily is not necessary for upkeep of the color, as there is only a very small amount in the box. The colors themselves stay fresh for several weeks, and then fade rather slowly. Some of the faded colors are undesirable, but not precisely… Read Full Review

I am very dissappointed with the hair brand. Colors are nice, and the shine, friz control and highlights it leaves in your hair is great. All ladies look for a product that will give us all these benefits but without the pain!!! I've used it at least three times, and the first two th burning wasn't too bad, but I tried it this last time, it burned the heck out of my scalp and back ( where my hair touched.) After washing and drying it, I noticed that the color I purchased really didn't come… Read Full Review

Feria is great! upset they no longer have a huge variety of colours they were all so pretty and for me they ALWAYS turn out the colour exactly on the box i wouldn't recommend drastically changing from one unnatural bright colour to other maybe if you use a pre-lightener… Read Full Review

Purchased this for a fun change in red. My hair is medium to light brown and I've dyed it red before with a different brand and it looked great. This one didn't. A lot of the darker tones in my hair (like the under parts) almost didn't even change colour, so now I have this dirty look where some of it is bright red and other parts aren't even red at all. I don't like the colour either, nowhere in my hair is it even close to the colour pictured on the box or displayed in the hair sample at the… Read Full Review

Run. I too read bad reviews for L'Oreal Feria, but not everyone is going to like the same thing so I decided to try it for myself. I choose black. Not with a blue or purple hue. Just black. Simple enough. I have dark hair naturally but had a auburn color when I started. I expected some color to show through. It would be covered when I redyed my hair black. No biggie. Well, after I followed the instructions my results were great. My hair was black. Just what I wanted. A few places showed my… Read Full Review

Feria # 72 shows a finished product as a golden dark blonde. The end result on my hair dark pinkish burgundy very dull lifeless color. I should have know better as all L'Oreal redish hair colors come out with tint of burgundy. Beware if you have a golden complexion. Waste of time and $, must purchase and redo hair color.. Color shown on picture is false advertizing.
Very upset consumer… Read Full Review

I first bought this line of color last year in true red well it came out great! but every time i washed my hair it would rinse out and not just the excess color i mean the color rinsed out of my hair! well i've been coloring my hair since i was 13 im now 18 so i have some experience under my belt.I thought it was just because red is a really hard color to get to stick to your hair at first and i went out and got another red...from a different brand and it didnt stick either so i figured it was… Read Full Review

I really liked the result of my hair colour after dying my hair Feria "Plum Power". It looked like a nice and vibrant red with purple tones. Unfortunately the colour didn't last as long as i would of liked it too :( But then again i didn't use the whole of the dye because half a bottle covered my whole head and I didn't want it to turn too red. Now I wish I did. Before purchasing this product i would of liked to know what the actual colour result was, because I was mainly reading how it turned… Read Full Review

I bought blonde. Just so I could dye my roots and it turned my hair orange. It was horrid. My 14 year old daughter has blonde hair, she bought the brown hair dye and it turned her hair gray. You can bet how happy she was about that. This is the worst brand I have ever used… Read Full Review

I bought the light golden brown to put in my medium borwn hair.
It turn my roots bright orange, and the rest of my hair a gross golden brown color. Not the one I signed. I tried to put a medium brown over my roots, and I'm talking 2 bottles of hair dye on my hair, not of Feria, and the color won't budge. I'm livid. Worst hairdye EVER… Read Full Review

I have been using the Loreal Casting creme gloss for the last few times I have coloured my hair, but for a change I fancied the Starry night by Feria Preference.
To start with the smell was very different, it smelt of very strong ammonia rather than the nice sweet smell of the Creme gloss.
As I applied it, it went on very differently, it was very runny.
And as I sat for the 30 minutes I could feel it running down my neck and around my ears.
And it does not come off easily, I had to scrub the… Read Full Review

I have been coloring my hair with at-home dyes for over 10 years now. I had tried Feria in the past, maybe 5 or so years ago, and it turned my hair a horrid shade of purple, however, it faded so quickly into an light auburn shade that was tolerable. Earlier I bought the Uptown Brown, that was supposed to make my hair sparkle. I chose it to take my medium to dark brown hair to a dark blonde. It was supposed to be a cool shade and not turn brassy. However, as I look in the mirror, I have a lovely… Read Full Review
