    I never applied for an Emerge Mastercard, Providian sold my account to them. I have paid my account faithfully since that time.     Providian Emerge:
    I would mail my payment two weeks before it was due and Providian would still find a way to charge me a late fee. They also sold my account to a company called Emerge, and then the rates went up to 29.9 and they never told me. I found out on my statement when I was hit with a seri ...
