“Refuse to return duplicate payments ”

I am disgusted with the treatment I’ve recently experienced from 34SP regarding the renewal of my domain hosting. I have had my package with them for a few years now and after recently paying online for my annual renewal, their system didn’t automatically reactivate my product, even though I received a confirmation email saying the renewal had been successful. So when I noticed it was not working I tried a few days later to complete the transaction again, which this time was was successful. Unfortunately the payment was still taken for the first unsuccessful attempt, and when I informed them of the situation and requested return of the first payment, I received the following message: “Apologies but it looks like we won't be able to refund that payment due to it being a domain renewal. If you need anything else do let us know though the domain should be back up and running now.“ So just to warn anyone who is thinking of using this company, they’re obviously happy to take duplicate payments, and are not willing to refund them, even though they are at fault! I have never heard such blatant nonsense or farcical excuses from a so-called reputable supplier, when they were clearly paid twice for the same item. Save yourself the grief, and use an honest supplier!

“Terrible service”

unreliable 3 plus site outages and support very poor i have been with 34sp.com a number of months now in that time in the time my website has gone down on at least 4 occasion due to there internal issues. Support is only office hours so you are totally stuffed if your site goes down outside those hours. Even during office hours you are sometimes waiting a whole day for someone to get back to you and then in my experience it is only to ask a stupid question. overall not a brill experience currently on the hunt for a better service. just a bit of an update I've now been with out a proper working service for 11 days and I am just going round in circles 34sp.com have advised me that there is nothing wrong with my site even though google has closed all of my ads saying my site is unreachable and every website checker ie pingdom and status cake etc said my site was down 34sp.com told me it is probably them and nothing to do with us. Finally the person I dealt with finds the issue after I had to pay for a developer to look at my site who told me what I have been telling 34sp.com for over a week now. Hi , I do apologise for the history of problems here, looking through it seems you'd had a similar 500 error with another plugin. I'm afraid we appeared to be having some caching issues as the site was displaying fine for us. Upon visiting the site in a proxy we could see these and fix them. If there are any remaining issues at all let me know and I will do what I can to help, if you're looking to register a complaint of any kind however I can also escalate your case to one of our directors for review. If you'd like me to do that feel free to address a message to them in a reply to this email and they will be able to review and get back in touch. Let me know either way thanks. “Really excellent technical support”

I moved my small business web hosting over to 34SP three months ago on the recommendation of a friend. There were a few teething problems on transfer (mainly due to previous set-up issues), so lots of additional contact with the 34SP team. I was assisted by a number of different people at different stages and every one was unfailingly knowledgeable, helpful and efficient – even following up to check on progress/success after they'd advised me on next steps. Occasional contacts since then have been similarly well dealt with. As well as this, their website is clear and intuitive to use, and their pricing seems more than fair. So in my experience 34SP provides a really excellent hosting service and I'd strongly recommend them.

“Excellent support”

I have been with 34sp for over 10 years, and their customer service and technical support have always been exceptionally good. I have just moved yet another client over to their servers following a terrible experience with another hosting provider. I recently moved lots of sites to the 34sp reseller service, and the tech support person assigned to the move was friendly, helpful, and kept in touch as he moved each site and tested it thoroughly. As you would expect with a server move there were a few problems here and there, and he went above and beyond to sort them out. Nothing was too much trouble. This company is how things should be run, and I have no hesitation at all in recommending them. Keep up the good work please, 34sp!

“Excellent Support and Response Time”

I have yet to experience a better technical support team. After a number of issues caused by myself and my lack of knowledge, the 34SP support team have always gone the extra mile to fix all issues and giving advice with an almost immediate response time. They had my site was up and running in just a few minutes after I had renamed a database directory! All this plus they are the most courteous and friendly team to talk to. They never made me feel like an idiot and always talked at a level I understood which had happened with previous hosting companies.

“Always there”

As an SEO company who manage a number of client sites we need to have zero downtime; of course this is not currently possible, so we need the next best thing. On the very few occasions where a site was unavailable 34sp.com were resolving the issue before we called in to see what the problem was. The support team members, are very customer focused and we always feel they are interested in helping. When a site is down the last thing you want is a grumpy techie, the 34sp.com team have a sense of humour and are always happy to explain what is wrong in simple terms. An indication of a good employer is staff turnover, most of the team have been there since we first spoke to them.

You can get cheaper if you look around but don't bother if you need a hosting company with excellent uptime and superb support that other hosting companies can't come close to matching. I've been using 34sp for several years now after having been recommended by a contact. Although I like to think of myself as computer literate, there are times when what I *want* to do and what I am *capable* of doing have a large gap between them! The guys at 34sp are unfailingly patient, knowledgeable and, well, patient. Even at really busy times, particularly when I've done something particularly maddening, they generally get things sorted within a very short time. Over the years, my site has been down for a total of about half an hour. Their systems are clearly very robust. Recommended highly.

I've been with hosting websites with 34SP for over a decade. During that time I have used bother their shared hosting and VPS products and have always been very happy with the level of support they provide. In many cases I would say they have gone beyond the call of duty to help. Whilst their are probably cheaper providers out there I believe 34SP to offer excellent value for money and I always feel confident recommending them to others.

We've been using 34sp since 2014 and at one point went elsewhere due to poor site speed in Wordpress, only to find other hosting companies having similar problems but far worse support! We then returned to 34sp and have been really pleased with their helpfulness on support and willingness to move an issue up to a more experienced engineer to investigate. Their new Wordpress hosting package is very quick and I would recommend anyone to try this out.

I have been using 34sp for several years now and have a number of different packages with them. I have always found that whatever my needs are they have an offering that meets them and their packages have moved with the times. Their support and assistance is excellent and I have always found them very cost effective. If a client wishes to manage their own hosting, I would always recommend them as first choice and the ability for me to be able to access their accounts as a technical contact is a very nice feature.

Really appreciated the service. We asked about their charity hosting service ages ago, it was clear ferom their site that it would meet our requirements & they confirmed quickly that we qualified. We didn't do anything about it for a while whilst we worked out what we wanted our new site to do & found a web developer we likesd & could trust. Despite the time delay they had all our details & when we were ready everything was up & running in no time at all. Our web site developer had no problems getting everything set up & we have had no problems editing & upgrading our, wordpress managed, site since it was handed over & went live. Altogether it has been a hassle free exercise. Based on our experience we would happily recommend 34sp.com. Canolfanbeaumaris.

I switched to 34sp years ago (actually so many years ago I can't remember exactly... at least 13). Their service is brilliant. Downtime is... umm what downtime? I don't ever remember any on any of my sites. Service works even at weekends and even when I'm just being a complete idiot. They never make me feel stupid. And even when it's not actually their problem but something to do with the software / google / someone else's server, they still help me figure out what the problem is and how to fix it. They've also been good enough to talk to other suppliers on my behalf when being piggy in the middle with the tech talk has got too much for me. I wish they'd all do that! Good value, top service. Can't ask for much more.

“Client's IP address blocked from seeing website - SORTED!”

34SP are by far the most efficient, helpful, patient and friendly)helpdesk/support team I have come across in my 25 years of creating, producing and developing websites. Support is crucial to my job as a managing director and when I have had a problem whether it be technical or basically not quite understanding what to do the 34SP support team have been only too willing to help. Prime example: I recently purchased a reseller hosting package, which uses the Plesk Control Panel. At first I found it a little daunting but when I phoned support I was guided through the control panel and was helped by a very patient member of staff. A week or so later and through no fault of 34SP one of my client's websites IP addresses blocked him from viewing his own website. I was at a gym at the time (at a weekend) and phoned support. Quickly answered and a member of their team checked what was wrong, explained what they would do and said they would email me with the outcome. By the time I got home the problem was resolved - turned out that it was at the 'client's end' and nothing really to do with 34SP but they still solved it. Great work!
