Caff Nero is by far the worst place in halifax. I'm never going there again and i certainly won't be recomending it, this needs reviewing Immediately. When i went i bought god knows what and spend £10 and quality of food was rubbish and a large coffee is not very large compared to nice places just like Costa coffee. I hated so much i had a closer look at the equipment and they was dirty, FILTHY infact and personly i HATED it as does everyone else i know that has been there. Not only am i NOT… Read Full Review

Oh how I wish I had been a "Mystery Shopper". Desparate for a good coffee called in to this cafe nero outlet with my partner. Ordered two Latte's. Girl taking order continued talking to her colleague and after preparing two cups, asked me very casually if I wanted "something" on my Cappacinno!(sic) I mentioned that I'd asked for Latte's at which she discustedly threw the prepared coffee's away and made two more. Grudgingly offered these to me and took my money. As soon as we could find a clean… Read Full Review

I have been buying my coffee at this branch of cafe nero for about 2-1/2 years now 5 days a week. The early morning (9am) staff just couldn't be better. Very very professional, great memories and the coffee is good too.
A thought for the management of Cafe Nero. If these people think of leaving do you best to prevent them… Read Full Review

I like Caffe Nero a lot and of all the large coffee chains I would rather pick Nero's than any of the others. I have visited number of the outlets all over England and have always found the staff to be friendly and very efficient. I especially like the loyalty card that you can get and although I don't drink loads of coffee, it does keep me going back to Caffe Nero's as I know I can get good coffee when I do go and that my 10th cup / takeaway would be free! I'm not a huge fan of the ready made… Read Full Review

Cafe Nero - It's good to have a choice of strength of coffee. Friendly staff even when busy. Loyalty cards are a good idea. Always look for a Neros first when we want a coffee. Muffins are excellent. Paninis are good too… Read Full Review

Visited the Macclesfield branch of Cafe Nero just before Xmas. As mentioned above,...no card payments taken. As I was unaware of this until about to pay, I found myself in a situation where I was £1 short,...not what you want when you're stood there with a tray of hot drinks!...My son was with me luckily and was able to dash out to a nearby cashpoint. Nevertheless it meant my standing by the counter as the drinks got cooler until he returned. As I saw nothing anywhere to inform me of this,...I… Read Full Review

My friend, who is allergic to nuts found a peanut in a muffin she was told was nut free.
Milk in her tea smelt stale.
I have to say i ordered a Mocha Latte And it was very nice,
though a little strong.
My double chocolate biscotti was very nice, even though I thought it had a random taste of raw egg, but it really tastes of cake mixture, which i love!
i would probably return there but i wouldn't return at lunch time.
overall : food. okay.
cleanliness. poor in my… Read Full Review

Cafe Nero - The expert here! From South Ken opening onto the roll out, I have used many of the branches regulary since I travel to all parts of Central and south London to work. They are such a success; in terms of good coffee - I am an expresso or machiato drinker, so refer to 'pure' coffee drink types; in terms of atmosphere - the peaceful playing of classical or opera in busy business areas is still pretty unique; and most certainly in terms of staff. They are almost always great, working… Read Full Review

Have been a fan of Caffe Nero's for a while as they claim to have the best coffee this side of Italy, a big statement indeed. However of late the prices have gone up the mugs they serve in ( no small in most ) are soup bowls which you can't finish and the coffee hit and miss.
I have yet to see a coffee served like this in Italy. Staff training wouldn't go astray either
Need to lift your game… Read Full Review

May I say that your Exeter (Queen St. Cafe Nero shop) is a pleasure to enter and have a coffee, mine is a cappuccino and sometimes a cake or ciabatta. The shop is manageress is excellent and always has a smile and time to speak to you as do the rest of her staff, ( I have mention this to her and the comment she gave was I like to treat my customers the same way I would like to be treated when go out).
Keep up the good work!… Read Full Review

The following is a verbatim copy of an email sent to Caffe Nero seven days ago. I didn't even get confirmation of receipt, let alone a response:
My wife and I have been great fans of Caffe Nero since you opened and would go out of our way to search out a bar, however, this year we have been made increasingly aware of reduced quality and a questionable marketing direction.
i) the starbucking of the size of cups; gone is the original small cup previously used that are standard in Italian bars… Read Full Review

Cafe Nero has a lively atmosphere, but it doesn't appear to be very clean. You often find used dishes left for too long. The toilets aren't very clean either.
Most importantly, if you are on some business and you need to use the wireless internet service, NEVER expect it to work well. I have had so much messing and have had to go opposite to Starbucks… Read Full Review

Cafe Nero directly opposite Bristol University's Wills Memorial Building has been a daily life-saver for years. It's got the best coffee, the best barristas and the best atmosphere around. It's also just a 30-second dash across the road from a 4-hour practical lab class!
Its coffee menu covers all the bases for on-site or take-out and the staff are knowledgable, professional and fast - although the queues at lunchtime and between lectures are a testament to Nero's popularity. They're also… Read Full Review

Coffee is excellent. My regular is usually a Mocha with one shot of coffee and no whipped cream but I have tried and can recommend their hot chocolate, Chocissimo (Costa have a similar product but Soho Nero have been doing it for years. I haven't spotted it in any other branch though), their Latte, Cappachino and Expresso.
Their food usually ranges from delicious, mediterranean themed sandwiches, ciabattas and big roll things. Also they serve soups, yougurt, cakes(passion cake is nice)… Read Full Review
