Me and my other half visited The o2 to watch a film last week in the sky superscreen which is the biggest screen eg like imax but we noticed there was an area upstairs called sky balcony so we asked if we can have tickets for that we were told we have to pay FULL price for a ticket. We asked can we pay an extra charge as we have an unlimited card but was told No we cant we need to purchase a ticket at full price which is not fair as we pay £14.99 a month and this shouldnt be a problem plus… Read Full Review

“Appalling, rude and ridiculous ”

Today, my mum, my friends and I travelled a 40 minute journey to Cineworld Chichester to see 21 Jump Street. We were all excited, ready to watch the film; tickets bought. We went to go through, only to be asked if we had ID. I thought it was some kind of joke. No where on the website, in the cinema or the ticket machine does it state that you need ID to get into a 15, seeing as I'm 17 I was deeply offended. It states on the website that proof of age will be required for 12A, 15 and 18 films.

I recently went out as usual to the pictures, only this time I tripped over my lace in the lobby and went tumbling over. The manager quickly came over and checked I was okay. They went and got some ice for my ankle and gave me a free coke as I felt a little faint. “cineworld could be so much more....”

Cineworld cinemas are the uk's biggest chain of cinemas and because it is the only GOOD cinema where I live,I like going there a lot. Good things: -Audiotorium walls are fited with a kind of thick wallpaper which reduces echo's so it is very quiet. -A very wide choice of refreshments which are all delicious. Considering the price was almost a third higher than what I usually pay, I would've expected at least a reasonable viewing exeperience. This wasn't to be though. Attempting to watch The Woman In Black in a crowded cinema was always going to be difficult noise-wise, but this was ridiculous. Now while people making noise isn't the cinemas fault, it took 2/3 of the film before staff dealt with it, and succeeded in causing as much disturbance as the noise-makers. “Ticket Machines Only”

Had to help 3 people, one disabled, to obtain tickets from a machine. This is the only option available at this cinema. There is nobody to help, no advice on where to seek help. Plenty of bodies to sell overpriced food and drinks. If you turn up without a credit or debit card you will not see the film, there is no cash option on the machines. hi, i love going to the cinema as films are one of my favourite things. I decided to take out a cineworld pass as thought £13.50 was good value for money and means i can go whenever I want. This was my first visit to the Haymarket Cinema in London. I had high expectations being in the West End, and to be fair the venue does have a lot of character and the seats were really comfortable and they'd made the best of an old building which I appreciated and quite liked. Cineworld have closed their box offices and are selling tickets at the food counters to save on staff and sell you food you don't want seemingly to boost profits. Just seen contagion on Orange Wednesday the ticket machines not working and the Que was half hour, we nearly missed the show. Firstly I am very disappointed at the range of movies shown at our local cineworld. Having initially taken out the unlimited card due to the closeness of the cinema to our house, quite often if we want to see a Bollywood, foreign or slightly niche movie we have to travel an extra 30 miles each way to a different cinema to see it. Im an unlimited card holder of 6 years so visit the Cineworld Glasgow quite frequently. Overall i think the unlimited card is great value for money, the cinema is nice, clean, comfortable and the staff are pretty good (had a couple of occasions where i've not been impressed with staff, but nothing major) Only issues i have: One is a common complaint for unlimited card holders which is the not being able to pre book. As others have said, you have to buy tickets at the good counter, and with only one or two very average staff, it takes ages to get served, even if you just want a ticket. Just returned from another horrendous experience as Cineworld. Took my 2 small children to see Shrek. When we got there the queue was enormous, as usual only 1 person working. Why only have one person working on a Saturday!, I queued for 20 minutes to be told when I was finally served this was now sold out. There was nothing else showing that was suitable for my children. I then had to pay for parking for not even seeing a film.

I have had an unlimited card since 2003 and for the first time I am considering not renewing for the following reasons:

-The unlimited card does not allow you to pre-book so for blockbuster movies you have to go the cinema really early to ensure a seat. There have been times when I decided to pay online (even if I have a card) to make sure I had a place because I couldn't be there an hour before.
