I found that service support at 5 Quid Host was too mechanistic and slow. The standard form to fill in on the customer's time, 'we will get back to you in 24 hours' set-up. Not so good if you have a problem or need telephone help, which appears non-existent.

Would highly recommend 5 Quid Host, their prices are pretty good (you could probably find cheaper, but certainly not for the same quality of service). Amazing customer support - I think I've had a response within the hour every time.
Good features - accounts. Servers sometimes seem a little slow.

Just upgraded to Level 1 on 5 Quid Host, and will upgrade as needs require. Using Joomla, and was very easy to set-up (and latest version). Level 0 was free, and enough to get going. Backup easy to use, but haven't tried restore yet.

Support is excellent at 5 Quid Host and have always reacted promptly whenever I have had a problem, which have been few and far between. I wish every company I deal with were as professional as these guys!! Good points are Price & Support

Used a few times now and always happy. Simple, easy to use and so far, great customer service and aftersales.

Overall 5 Quid Host is very good and excellent for the money. Domain parking is easy and trouble-free. Most things seem to work as described with a minimum of fuss. Easy to use control panel. Very easy to set up and remove new services etc.. Fast access. Very quick and accurate (friendly) help-desk responses. Bad points are: SSH access has to be pre-arranged and has a 7 day limit but a major issue. Not easy to track status of support messages and no history of them, hasn't been a real issue yet but could become so.

Quick, effective responses by people who really know what they are talking about. 5 Quid Host are great. They're the third web hoster I've used and have been able to quickly and determinedly sort problems that previous hosters kept assuring us either did not exist, were nothing to do with them or not fixable. I run a small business that depends on email, so it needs to work consistently. Currently paying £5 a month for an excellent service, can't fault it, particularly not at the price. sometimes I don't immediately understand what they are telling me but that's my technological ignorance rather than any failing on their part.

Customer service at 5 Quid Host is fantastic, i have e-mailed them a couple of times for help and within 1-2 hours they got back to me and helped me resolve my problem, they even did it for me once. My website is really responsive, no lag, and its always up. servers are really good regardless of being in america... and its very cheap aswell at only 2 quid a month. I would strongly reccomend using them as your hosting company, theres no catch, no nothing, plain and simple 5 quid a month for a great hosting plan, no sign up fee no setup fee, just a fiver and thats you. Up and running straight away.

I would have no hesitation recommending 5 Quid Host in future. All good, I inherited the domain and hosting from someone else and have found the service to be excellent.

You'd be a fool not to try them - take the free option and upgrade later if you don't believe me. Extremely fast responses to e-mails.
