The voucher gave us an opportunity to try the Chef & Brewer-I would think twice even if the next promotion offered two free meals

I will not be going to Watermill Inn, Reigate Road, Dorking again or to any other Chef and Brewer Restaurant.
In the past I has been very impressed with Chef and Brewer but not now.
There are so many good restaurants out there now where you get good value for your money.

The White Lion outside Leamington is a great favourite, in fact most of the Chef & Brewer pubs I have been to have also been of a similar quality. The staff in particular at The White Lion are so friendly and the service is excellent. As my husband is an excellent cook we struggle to find pubs off ...

I live locally and eat at the The Hut (Chef & Brewer) in Ravenshead frequently. We have always been satisfied, and love the burgers!

The service in the George was appalling in my opinion. We waited for an hour and only when I asked a waitress where our food was did it come to light that someone had gone home with our docket, and to add insult to injury, they didn't have one of the dishes we had requested. When I spoke to the ma ...

Nice evening ruined by one member of staff poorly trained staff in customer service and general courtesy. What a shame.

The new management of the The Crown Inn at St Neots has made quite a revolution here and I reckon it will get better and better. I liked the rat pack evening after the re-opening

I have sent an email to the Crown on Mon 05 Nov. Still no reply. This was a birthday celebration for 4. Service was appalling and staff attitude was bad. We did however receive a bottle of wine free of charge, because after nearly an hour we asked where our food was, they admitted the till ate the ...

I will not bother with Chef & Brewer in the future. The beer is nice, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The food is really bad - frozen chips, Bisto gravy and smash. I paid £15.99 for what was supposed to be fillet steak, but there was more gristle. Horrible.
