At Chef and Brewer I experienced rubbery sole; soggy, slimy carrots; tasteless undercooked cauliflower, cold cabbage. The worst meal I have ever tried to eat.
On complaining we were met with no apology just a lot of self-justification. I would rather burn £40 than spend it on this.

After meal we had to sit with our plates in front of us for half an hour and they were only picked up when I moved them to another table. Another long wait ...

After a very long wait, ...

The roast beef at Chef & Brewer in Shawford was inedible due to gristle & fat. The soup was lukewarm.T he service between courses was poor and staff had to be found to take orders.
