I was leading a small group of people on a walk on Saturday November 1st and recommended we go to the Romper Ringway Cheshire. Unfortunately nobody really enjoyed their meal.
The baked potatoes were almost inedible as the skin was hard and the filling cold. The fish and chips were also just warm a ...

At Chef and Brewer I experienced rubbery sole; soggy, slimy carrots; tasteless undercooked cauliflower, cold cabbage. The worst meal I have ever tried to eat.

On complaining we were met with no apology just a lot of self-justification. I would rather burn £40 than spend it on this.

Poor reception when we entered, very long waits at the bar to order and to get food with no apology. Food was not very hot and salmon dried out. After meal we had to sit with our plates in front of us for half an hour and they were only picked up when I moved them to another table. Another long wait ...

Ran out of large wine glasses at 7.30pm when apparently only few people in pub.
    White wine served warm
Ran out of wine ordered a little later so had to order another brand which was also served warm.
I felt the oysters for starters were very badly prepared, no juice inside them, overly cold and appe ...

I disliked the food and I felt it was at least double the price it should be. I recently had Breast of Farm Assured Chicken Filled with Mozzarella Wrapped in Bacon. Served with tomato and basil sauce, sauteed British new potatoes and seasonal vegetables for about £9.50
After a very long wait, ...

Use the Bakers Arms Chef and Brewer very often for evening meals/sunday lunch either with friends or my 14 year old daughter, she loves it!The food is restaurant quality and always delicious, we had a three course sunday lunch today and it was almost too much to eat, Holly was defeated by the chocol ...

When checking bill at Chef and Brewer, found drinks had been added that we had not ordered which we spotted and returned and were given discount.

Bread and olive oil - oil tasted stale and bitter, bread seemed stale
    Peas hard
Out of stock of vanilla ice cream, insufficient amount of lemon sorbet fo ...

I had to wait over an hour on Saturday evening for a very badly cooked meal. The salmon wrapped in pastry was very over cooked and the vegetables under cooked. In the meantime, because the staff were apparently so overwhelmed with customer complaints, the bar service seemed abysmal. ...

Not as good as last year, age limit keeps changing I don't know of a restaurant anywhere else in the world that you need to be 21 to be allowed to be served on a sunday afternoon.

The roast beef at Chef & Brewer in Shawford was inedible due to gristle & fat. The soup was lukewarm.T he service between courses was poor and staff had to be found to take orders.
It took six minutes to find someone to pay the bill to.
