AOL Broadband is The worst company i have ever had to deal with. I was with them 2 years ago and had the most problems ever with my system after 3 months of trying to sort this out and being told it was the new dell computer and the new laptop then microsoft, i finally contacted aol in hammersmith ...

AOL Broadband - Oh where to start! The software is buggy and crashes quite often and there appears to be no way to use the internet on aol without their software. For an "always on" broadband connection not only do I have to sign on, but I have to put up with being disconnected on average 20-30 time ...

I have been with aol for 12 months now and the software has never worked properly.

Lately I have not been able to get broadband content so I phoned technical support and got AOL's Indian Support Centre, the staff barely speak english and the little that they do is is only just understandable.

AOL have to be not only the worst broadband provider in the uk, but certainly one of the worst companies in the world. Firstly, after having a lengthy conversation with someone about the benefits of being on 2mb broadband as opposed to 1mb I decided to go for the faster service. I was actually signe ...

My opinion of AOL Broadband's service is second to none. And no, I don't work for AOL.
After you order their service it is only a matter of days until your line is checked and your modem dispatched via special delivery. And if you are upgrading it takes less than 24 hours. When you get the package ...

I was on AOL broadband for 1 year, and this is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. AOL product itself is fine, but if you have a problem, Good luck !! I couldn't logon for 5 weeks, spent 37 hours trying to sort out. Call centre staff are not located in UK and are poorly trained. I ...

AOL Broadband does take over your computer and have things open up and run in the background you never new were even there. Then when you try to cancel AOL they have a bad habit of billing your account six monthes after you have cancelled your account. I wouldn't recommend AOL to anyone unless your ...

Over the years, before I moved to AOL, I have had about 8 ISP's, most start off well then tail off or go broke. Had heard some bad things about AOL(can't get on all webb sites etc but all these tales have been proved wrong) but in desperation decided to give them a try as have both Mac and Windows w ...

For various reasons I don't want to move over to broadband for the time-being, and have found AOL UK dial-up quite satisfactory. (For a time I tried Telewest's Blueyonder, but ran into a problem, and couldn't get technical help, so moved back to AOL.) In particular, when there is a problem, AOL's fr ...

My main gripe with AOL Broadband is how it takes over your computer.

To my way of thinking an ISP should simply connect you to the net, after that its up to you. The ISP should not be determining the browser window, icons or anything else.

If you look in the control panel, add/remove programs, ...
