I made a booking for me and a friend with BMI Baby. Unfortunately I found out post booking that her name is different on her passport. I expected to pay a reasonable admin charge to make this amendment but they said it's a flat £100! At no point during the booking process does it mention this ...

Dreadful experience, flew from Manchester to Amsterdam BMI Baby try very hard to charge you extra for hold baggage (made me force my hand luggage into a tiny slot to prove it was below the size limit - but the bins on the aircraft were much bigger!). The only problem i have had with BMI Baby was i was flying back from holland (which i do quite regular) and we had to land at east midlands instead of birmingham. But BMI had a coach outside waiting for us as soon as we landed. Coach was great. brand new comfy. Couldnt of asked for anymore. People ...

With BMI Baby if nothing goes wrong it's bearable, but the minute anything went wrong the staff I dealt with seemed very unhelpful towards me and the so called customer service number was impossible to get through to any time I tried and is a premium rate number anyway!!
